Bad umpiring is a lot easier to tolerate when it works in your favor LOL

Yeah im worried about him. Age might finally be catching up. Baseball is funny though, he might bat 320 in the second half

    Castro has got to go.

We don't need a masher as the backup, but striking out 45% of the time is completely unacceptable from anybody on the roster.

I don't hate the Stadium. I hate the players who call it home and the FANS.

Yeah, and pre-roid Barry was absolutely incredible.

Won 2 MVPs in Pittsburgh. Over a 3 year period from 1990-1992, He went 1, 2, 1 in MVP, won the SS all 3 years, GG all three years, posted a .406, .410, and .456 OBP, and yes, stole 134 bases during that time, but the game is different now so it's hard to compare SB. He was an absolutely awesome, awesome baseball player.

I keep coming back to this, but a player his age talking about retirement at the start of the year was a real red flag to me. He's mentally finished.

I initially thought going 5-4 over these 9 NY games would be a decent record.

Now 5-4 (3-4 the rest of the way) sounds like selling the team short.
