    Hampton has outdueled Santana so far, even if you don't factor in Santana's error or Hampton's HR.

    As much as like Hampy 4 runs in 6 innings is not very good....although there where some bad breaks still kinda concerned vs a weak hitting Mets team.

    5 2/3 is worse....If Wade is not going to be able to make a trade he has to think about bringing up Norris soon!

    Do you think it was a strict pitch count or the fact that he walked Santana?

    I'm actually leaning toward the former.

    We lead after 5 1/2 so I really shouldnt complain BUT Hampton only going 5 2/3 and giving up 4 ER is not good...that stat line is great for a 5 starter not a 3 or even 4...

    Side note...the walk to Santana should actually help us hopefully with all the running he did.
