Yorman Bazardo's line down in Round Rock last night.... Winning pitcher in a 4-2 game against the Omaha Royals.

    8 IP, 5 H, ER, BB, 3 K

What's taking so long to call either him or Bud Norris up?

there would have been a force out at every base. every game counts so why not micromanage the hell out of it.

im ok to pitch to francouer because he swings at practically everything but I would have felt more comfortable with him facing a right-hander.

Theyre probably not going to bring one or either up until we're "out of it"

The point is also that one bad game can affect a situational pitcher's ERA for a long time. Assume he comes in and give up 3 runs without retiring a batter. He averages less than 1 inning an appearance. It would take him 12+ scoreless appearances just to get his ERA into the low 3s.

No one is saying that Byrdak is great, but he is certainly better than average at his particular job.

DL...He didnt want to go on the list but it seems to have been a wise move.

Good start for Moehlor, way better then Hampton and Ortiz for sure!

    Back to back RBI doubles.

Astros are getting great contact on these pitches. Even Bourn's fly out was to the Right center wall.

    2-0 Good Guys early.

Old Friend is warming up in the bullpen...

To be honest this ump is squeezing Hernandez which should benefit Moles who keeps everything in the zone rather then a nibbler like Hernandez.
