Yorman Bazardo's line down in Round Rock last night.... Winning pitcher in a 4-2 game against the Omaha Royals. 8 IP, 5 H, ER, BB, 3 K What's taking so long to call either him or Bud Norris up?
there would have been a force out at every base. every game counts so why not micromanage the hell out of it. im ok to pitch to francouer because he swings at practically everything but I would have felt more comfortable with him facing a right-hander.
The point is also that one bad game can affect a situational pitcher's ERA for a long time. Assume he comes in and give up 3 runs without retiring a batter. He averages less than 1 inning an appearance. It would take him 12+ scoreless appearances just to get his ERA into the low 3s. No one is saying that Byrdak is great, but he is certainly better than average at his particular job.
Damnit, my FSNHD channel is all choppy and the sound goes in and out. Blah. Guess I'll watch it in SD.
DL...He didnt want to go on the list but it seems to have been a wise move. Good start for Moehlor, way better then Hampton and Ortiz for sure!
Back to back RBI doubles. Astros are getting great contact on these pitches. Even Bourn's fly out was to the Right center wall. 2-0 Good Guys early.
Oh yea...Really nice start, we need to keep scoring and let Moles attack the strike zone without fear!
Old Friend is warming up in the bullpen... To be honest this ump is squeezing Hernandez which should benefit Moles who keeps everything in the zone rather then a nibbler like Hernandez.
No problem sending the runner love the agression but darn Blum looked slow that hammy must be hurting...Good to see Pence coming to life a bit sucks he got thrown out though.
