Why can't we ban all non-astro fans? I hear banning certain groups worked out well in Germany. :)

It was, it was. I still hate all non-astros fans of course. A real ****ty game to lose though, especially the way our lucks gone all season.

The Astros are posed to make a run...to the liquor store to drink off this season and hope for a better one next year.

He was something like 2 for 18 against Glavine with a pair of singles, lol. He talked to Garner and Garner gave him the night off (except for that PH)

We should win this game because Dave Williams is an awful pitcher. When he was with the Pirates, every fifth day I could feel myself faintly being sucked toward Pittsburgh from across the state.

Anyone else notice that Oswalt touched 95 with a fastball this inning? It's been a couple of years since I've seen that.

He did it in his last two starts... he's made no secret about his arm feeling pretty good, and his feel for his curveball is back.

His feel for the curve has been good, but I noticed him consistently in that 91-92 range against the Phillies... maybe I missed the higher ones.

Finally an extra base hit from Pence. Haven't seen one of those in a while.

Dave Williams: Not the man you want pitching the day after a 17-inning marathon. Mets are lucky the All-Star break's coming up.

Happy to see the offense today, but they couldn't have done this year? :D

Nice to see the Astros playing so well early in their last game before the break. Teams sometimes seem to mail in the game before the break and I would have thought that would have been the case for the Astros, especially after losing a 17 inning game last night and just the way the season has gone so far.

Absolutely. This will leave a good taste in the mouth for the next five days. The next two weeks after that will be very interesting.

Pence was 2-5 today and currently has a .342 BA. In the Colorado game (in progress), Holliday is 0-3 and has a .342 BA. If Holliday continues to go hitless, Pence will have the best BA in the NL going into the break. :D
