    Let the booing begin!

We still owe the punk Mets for 1986. Let's make the playoffs and give them some serious payback.

    Meet the Mets
    Greet the Mets
Come to H-Town and beat the Mets
    Cover your head
    Prepare for the cries
Guaranteed Pedro will be tellin' some lies (about his injuries)
Cause Carlos Beltran will be dropping the ball
watchin' Tom Glavine losin' it all
    1st base
    3rd base
    everybody make some sound
'cause the New York M-E-T-S Mets are goin' down

The first game will be very hard for Astros.

Glavine is .218 facing lefty and .291 facing righty.

And Ausmus is 2-40 when facing Glavine.

    Berkman is 1-16.

    Burke is 1-10.

he'll probably be on a limited pitch count coming back from injury, though. so we should get to the bullpen around the 6th.

After hitting well in the first game, the offense stalls. Beltran hits 3 HRs and drives in 9 RBIs over the weekend. Fans become depressed and turn on each other. The "Photoshop the Pain" thread gets active again. Dreighton Apologists bang their drums and shout "It ain't over yet!" DaDa posts something like "We should have offered the moon to keep Beltran." Everyone else groans and counters with rolleyes. The Crusade Against Adam Everett continues and spreads to encompass Aubrey Huff (for some reason). Someone posts a pic of Beltran colliding with Cameron. A newbie responds with "LOL!!1111".

I am usually the first one to boo Beltran but it dawned on my today he was only here for a half a season, he never should be considered an Astro.

    WLW...

I think we need to win this series, especially over a great Met Team...A sweep would be nice, but c'mon, that isn't going to happen...

Go Stros!!! I'm not sure they'll be showing it here in Dallas...I hope so...I wish I was there to Boo Beltran...

True, but the booing is more to get inside his head and lower his game play. Plus you can't boo his agent who string the Astros along.

In comparision, Randy Johnson was pretty upfront that he was staying in Houston, but he was honest and up front about it. The reason to boo Beltran is because his agent and him used and abused the Astros front office. Plus it is fun.

i don't know about all that....he provided such an amazing thrill for us in our first playoff series win against braves and the enduring 7 games against the cards....i will never forget that run...of course the one that sticks out the most is last years run!

But i will boo the heck out of him tonite! bank on that

    Everett
    Lane
    Ensberg
    Wandy
    Rookie catcher

Again a punchless lineup, when the team can not afford to lose any games.

Where is Scott? He should not be sitting down any games.....

Phil Garner still sticks with his righty-lefty plan.

But the problem is your righty batters suck.
