Good win, goos homestand, we could have easily swept NY. Now we get to go to Philly for a huge series and beat the Phillies who we haven't lost to in 2 years.

I was pretty bummed about this series until today. This was the first game my Grandmother and I ever sat down and watched together. What was so ironic is Roy O is her favorite player. She has been so ill since her brother died this year and this was only the third game she's watched since. Roy never lets me down in the putting a smile on my grandma's face department. Touch loss for the series but today was a great game in so many ways. Now we have do deal with the freakin Phillies. I just hope Roger keeps us going. We really need Bagwell in the dugout for moral support. Hope you all had a good weekend.

We had 9 walks in the game so we are getting on base... need to cash in and take more advantage though

As tough as it was to lose the series, the bright spot you can take out of it is that if the team does make the postseason, they're not likely to trot out Wandy and Hirsch in the first two games, if at all. Roy gave us the win the team should have gotten (on paper). This team should be feared and will be (with O, Pettite and Clemens) IF they make it there.
