We had damn well better win this game. We have our 73 million dollar ace on the mound, and they have 2 MVP candidates out of their lineup, with Beltran and Wright not playing today. I think we'll win and finish a 4-2 homestand and head into a huge series with Philadelphia tommorow. Cmon Stros!!!!

Philly is playing back to back double headers going into the series with the Astros. We had better take good advantage of that this upcoming series.

    Phil Garner is clueless.

Runner on third, none out for Everett and Ausmus... how many times have we blown that this season? To me, enough that to not even attempt a squeeze is incredibly irresponsible managing. The probability of Everett or Ausmus driving a pitch to the outfield is so low... how can you not at least try?

EDIT: How sad is it that Oswalt's at-bat was much, much more competitive than either of the ABs by Everett and Ausmus?

At this moment, you just need to try something different to see if it's going to work.

    Forget about defense.

    Play Burke everyday.

Maybe after the series vs Phillies, we will be officially out of wild card race.

This is a good thing...we'll get a couple runs late in the game so Roy doesn't have a chance to lose his concentration with the lead.

Everett and Ausmus' anemic hitting is actually helping Oswalt. ;)

Pujols got 2 long ball in just 4 innings.

And we have ONE hit in 5 innings.
