I think the issue with the white uni's is how overwhelming the white is in the center. you have red on the top and bottom.... but an ocean of white in the middle....

i think the uniform is basically good enough to have minor tweaks in the coming years. but we should try to keep the overall look for a long time.

i wouldn't mind seeing a grey jersey either

Agreed. That's the only real change I think the white unis need .

It didn't look like the shorts had any waistline trim.

The red uni is awesome though.

I think the new unis look great, but then I am not that interested in the unis. I want to see the team PLAY! The Amaechi "boob"
comments are some the funniest I have read on the board. Way to go guys! :D

A horizontal waistband trim would detract from the "verticalness of the game" concept that Eiko was going for. Now if it said 'HOUSTON' along the waistband, that would be a more depressing story.

    haha, thats frikkin hilarious! LMAO!

The new uniz are nice! They have that sleek new style, trendsetter thing going on but i think this is here to stay for awhile. The rings on the (side) top and the bottom look marvelous and sleek. I wanna give kudos to the NEW shiny look for the ROX since they have NEW coaches/arena/players. The matching shorts look great!

On the other hand, the reason to why Amaechi's t*** are standing out  is because of that polyester fabric. If your not cut enough then whatever isnt cut is goin to show. But I definitely think that they are going to look much better once they get fitted for each player. Im hoping that they make the numbers a little bigger and a bit thicker also. I was hoping to see a little bit more silver in the red jerseys too.

Overall, I see the uniz looking much better once they play their first game. They'll prolly fit better and look better.....hopefully

    HAHAHH.... that made me giggle

i AGREE...either they need to make the font of "ROCKETS" bigger.. or make it HOUSTON and bigger... and also, they need to move the numbers down... BUT, there is a problem with making the font bigger.. they stripes are rather large.. i think they come in the way.. thats why they had to make the font smaller.. they need to work it out by the beginning of the season!!! i HATE REEBOK!!! and also.. how could management be so dumb, and let the font be so damn small.. its common sense.. any idiot can look at the jerseys ONE time and see that the font is clearly too high and too small.. they need to do something.. if not this season, then ready to go next season!

Perhaps you didn't get the memo. People with less than 300 posts can not just bash new members like they own the place. Random threads? You mean a sticky thread at the top of the main forum? Nice try. Come back later.

Anyway, I love these new jerseys. They look very classy. Classy is the key word, and it's definitely the classiest jersey in the league.

Hopefully the majority of fans will grow to love these as much as the orange and red.

Comparing all the new jerseys... there is a trend.. all have the large shoulders.. and almost everyteam also has the small font.. maybe league regulations? its still looks kind of funny... but i guess im content:rolleyes:

If you start to think you want to complain about the new uni's, just think to last year, those goofy ass pin stripes and that freakin' dildo with teeth. These are great compared to last year.

Four Teams to Unveil New On-Court Looks

NEW YORK, Oct. 2 -- Four NBA teams will sport a new look on the court this season as the Cleveland Cavaliers, Denver Nuggets, Houston Rockets and Orlando Magic launch new uniforms, produced by Reebok, for the 2003-04 NBA season.
The following is an overview of each team's new uniform design:

    Cleveland Cavaliers
The Cleveland Cavaliers' new uniforms feature elements of the team's new identity, including use of a crimson-hued wine color and metallic gold that represents updated versions of the Cavaliers' original colors. The uniform will also feature the team's new secondary C-Sword logo on the shorts and new stylized wordmarks for each uniform - "Cavaliers" on the home uniform and "Cleveland" on the road uniform.

    Denver Nuggets
The new Denver Nuggets uniforms were voted the best uniforms in the NBA by the 2003 NBA rookies, based on a survey conducted by USA Today.

The Denver Nuggets new uniform design features new colors of light blue, gold and royal, which are also used in the team's updated logo. The Nuggets will additionally use a new secondary logo this season that features a "DN" highlighted by the traditional snow-capped mountain peak, which will be featured on the uniform shorts.

    Houston Rockets
The Houston Rockets' new uniforms have two arcs circling the uniform sleeves and shorts to match the team's new "R" logo. Designed by Eiko Ishioka, the 1992 Oscar winner for costume design on "Bram Stoker's Dracula," the uniforms are designed to emphasize the upward motion, which is unique to the sport of basketball.

    Orlando Magic | Team shop
The Orlando Magic's new uniform design honors the team's 15th Anniversary season. This is the team's third uniform in 15 years beginning in 1989 with the famous pinstripes and followed by the Jhane Barnes-designed star jersey of the last five years.

In addition, the blue away jersey is adorned with "Orlando" -- a change designed to reinforce the team's commitment to its hometown.

Man some of you people are so freakin hard up!! There are so respectable compared to last seasons unis. They are clean, sleek and classy. the look of a champion!!!

The only negative is more of a video technical one. The camera is really going to have to iris down on the white unis, making darker skinned players REALLY dark. If they smile, all you'll see would be the uniform and teeth!!
Imagine Lewis Lloyd in that uniform. Teeth and jersey!!

I do love them and can't wait for Yao to show up next week.
