Thank you for clarifying your point (*cough* sew). I don't think anyone assumed a bigger run would've been made with Tmac in the game. I merely pointed out that I did not watch the game, and was surprised that he was benched while posting not terrible stats. But yes, it is now a moot point.

to be honest, I wouldn't mind seeing this passing version of Mcgrady on the Rockets second unit

with Brooks, Courtney Lee/Twill, T-mac, Hayes, J Hill

would be quite interesting to be honest

Agreed, but this is assuming that T-mac will understand and play within his role. My only worry would be that he continues to put up better numbers, and becomes arrogant in his role and demands for more. We can only dream however, as it seems impossible that Houston would give him another shot, and rightfully so.

I wish McGrady the best, but I don't want him on the Rockets any longer.

You must spread some Reputation around before giving it to durvasa again.

I don't think you have to worry about that. He'll never be a Rocket again.

I think thats myth is blown out of the water. Even the most haters of the world are admiting he is'nt done. Infact pistons beat writers are calling him now the best player on their team but you go on and talk a bunch of hot air.

I don't care what anyone says you can't call someone who is averaging 5.2ppg/2.8rpg/2.1apg in 18mins the best player of a team, even if that team is the Pistons.
Just because he can get hot for a quarter every 10 games or so doesn't mean anything.
He'd have to be a whole lot more consistent and productive to be called that.

You're a clown then. At the start of the season he was getting his legs back you know, a micro fracture surgey usually takes 24 months of hardcore rehab to recover from. In the last few weeks he is starting to get his lift back into his jumpshots and his first back to be able to make moves.

Even the Pistons Trainer said McGrady will need to january to get his legs under him and he is proving to be right.

So you're admitting that he isn't ready yet right?
How can someone who cannot even play with any kind of consistency be called a team's best player?
McGrady has only shown flashes of being productive this year, he's gonna have to be able to do that on a regular basis.
I never said that he couldn't become the pistons best player at some point, I just said that as of right now he isn't.

This makes me even more upset at Morey and Adelman, they betrayed it as if he was useless as as player and wouldn't even give him a chance to play last year even when bud and ariza were sucking.

It's like they forgot this was the same guy that carried us for years surrounded by scrubs and washed up vets like head and alston.

You could tell in his games back agianst detroit and clippers he didn't lose all of his explosiveness so he could very well get back to his 07 form.

And it's really staring to look that way, now he's probly going to take his talents to the Lakers or another contender next season

i dont hate tmac like a lot on here but dude let it go already.

Morey basically turned a injured Tmac + Landry in to Kevin Martin, Jordan Hill, NY Draft picks (this years might be worth nothing since NY is playing better than us) but still a good trade.

Yes I agree a Kevin Martin is no where near a healthy Tmac. But he made the trade expecting Yao would be healthy. Kmart has been great and one of the most efficient players in the league. At this point he is better than a recovering Tmac. Jordan Hill looks like he has a lot of upside. He was not better than Landry at the time of the trade but he has way more potential.

Anyways its not a bad trade so just let it go already. Best Wishes to Tmac. He was one of my favorite players to watch.

There's a reason why he's in Detroit not Chicago, Miami, Lakers, Spurs etc

You TOFs have the worst memory.

You realize that he got what he wanted right? he went to New York and he played lots of minutes.

Tell me what happened in New York.

What did he do in his last game? or do you not watch?

What Daryl Morey, Rick Adelman, and the Houston Rockets did was one of the best trades in Rockets history.

If I ever see Daryl Morey, I'm going to buy him a beer or a steak dinner and tell him thanks for trading Tmac,

this dinner... IT'S ON ME!!!

4 early assists, he's really doing well as a distributor but i'd like to see him play more aggresively

He's not aggressive at all, his only jumper of the game was way off but he is dishing the ball pretty well. He has same assists number as whole Celtics squad right now
