Lmao, you make it sound like when Mcgrady came back he was booed like the Lakers in the playoffs at the Toyota Center..

When he came back there was a mixture of boos and cheers. That shows some fans appreciated what he did here, and some fans don't give a damn what he did here.

And now I see which fan you are!

    oh i get cha!

    :p

It seems that he has been healthy for a while now, but for some reason hesitant to be himself.

Like he was scared his knee would explode....he can still play if he gets confidence back in his knee....

I wish him luck, glad he is gone, but hope his career is not over.

Yeah, that's true. He is now 100% healthly but the problem is still in his head. If he comes in and is agressive he is always playing well (at least this season). His jumpshot is back, he is getting pretty good lift and elevation.

But sometimes he is still kinda shy. He said one night he feels great the other night not so much. But for me it is all bull*****.

I think he's adjusting well to his new role. The one stat thats sticking out to me this season when looking at his numbers is his high FG%, and watching the highlights of his points it seems like he's shooting high percentage shots more frequently than he has in the past. Hope he keeps it up.

I remember adelman used to say about Tracy that he needs to play through it. I think what Rick meant was Tracy needs to forget about this mentality of i feel it tonight and i will go to dominate and oh i dont feel it tonight and i will defer and look to take a backseat roll.

His skills are all there and health is getting to around 85% of what he'll be at full fitness so it's more to do with his mentality now.

McGrady had a stellar night: 17-7-7 was pretty impressive, no matter who was the opponent.

There were a couple people cheering, but on the whole....he got booed out in a big way.

Carter usually plays the I'm injured card and misses the return trip to Tornto. They have long memories up there in Canada.

he's only been truly healthy physically this season. last 2 years, he was still limping. and he never had the lift like this before.

He should play more minutes... They are a much better team when he is on the floor even if he cant score.

Do you think Prince might be the one getting traded to open up minutes?

team trainer says he won't be 100% physically healthy until mid-season. i guess until then, he won't get past 30 minutes. but it's clear they are a better team with him on the floor b/c he is so versatile. all the other players are pretty much in scoring-mode all the time.

it doesn't matter if prince is traded or not. if tmac plays this well, he'll get 25+ minutes every game.

the goal for tmac personally should be to add consistent scoring to now his consistent all-around game. what made tracy a top 5 player was his ability to score at will and do everything at the same time.

obviously, he won't ever be a top 5 player or return to his prime. but he can easily put up 15ppg, 5rpg, 5apg if given 25-30 minutes per game (he can be an all-around jason terry or jamal crawford).

but hey, tmac's goal is to return to his star status ways. let's see if it can come to fruition. people doubted if he can even play on an NBA team again. let's hope he can continue to prove people wrong.
