Wow, its one thing to blow by Calderon, but blowing by the reigning slam dunk champ at will is pretty impressive.

Just came to see if anyone was watching tonight. 15pts in 11 minutes looks pretty good. (according to CBS)

    Unbelievable.

His consistency should come by mid January. He's just showing the flashes.

K-Mart + Tmac on this team would be unbelievable!

now the challenge for tmac is to score like this in the 2nd half, and do it more consistently. we know he can do it, but he has to have the confidence to do it.

people need to chill when he has a down game. the guy just doesn't shoot a lot b/c he's more of a facilitator.

hopefully he can be on a contender and show his skills in the playoffs.

You're right. For him it is important to came out in the 2nd half and keep pushing, keep being agressive and keep attacking. He is not gonna do that again but he needs to show consistency

Its good to see that tracy isn't becoming penny hardaway version 2. and his micro fracture might have actually worked.

i think him playing with rip rather than BG or bynum help too. when he plays with bg/bynum, his job is to facilitate. and the ball won't be in his hands as much b/c those guys like the ball in their hands.

with rip, he's an off the ball player and tmac can be the do-it-all guy. tmac is who he is: a playmaker. give him the ball and let him go. he's never going to be a spot up shooter (which he can be) or a guy who cuts.

i think the pistons found a new combo: tmac and rip that is effective.

    The new combo is GREAT.

Rip is actually smart and ke knows where he should be. BG is a dumb ass who takes shots, doesn't matter if they are good or bad. So Rip sees he doesn't have to do anything at all and just stand and wait cause he knows Tracy will find him for an OPEN SHOT.

And what is important another ballhog and soft shooter CHarlie is in the starting lineup.

    That mean :

    1) More freedom and shots for him
    2) He'll have the ball in his hands

For him it is just important to stay agressive and keep attacking.

    Exactly.

You can also tell Rip respects McGrady a lot. When the Pistons were shooting fts, Hamilton went back to give McGrady a high five. Its a good fit but I still think McGrady should start somewhere (Utah Jazz would be a good fit, hate to say it but Sloan will bring some toughness from him).

The best sign was that reverse layup. Against the Rockets 2 weeks back he tried the very same move and half way through the move he slowed down, but on that play he had alot more lift and speed. Thats a sign the knee has healed and his power is getting back.

Agreed, lets pick him up, Im sure he'll bite. Far better than Battier/Bud. Now that he no longer controls the team nor their minds he should be given the chance to be a contributor with a limit on his minutes and watch him flourish.

    No never.

In June watch Morey sign Yao to a 5 Mil per year 5 year extension. One million base salary with 4 million per year bonuses if he manages 50 games.

    The same with TMac.

    Championship here we come!!!

(I am in denial - sue me!!!)
