    W22_STREAK did.
now, how does his charitable work make him a 'great player'? its cool that he does such things, but it has nothing to do w/ his on-court play.

which is fine - i never commented either way on the story itself. lots of nba players do charitable things and give away lots of money. i respect the fact that mcgrady has his causes too, but i wouldnt point to them in order to show what a 'great player' he is. im sure karl malone does alot of charitable work, but he is still a j*zz-ass punk.

actually tinmans statement "TOF's cheap cop out on Tracy's NBA decline is saying he's a humanitarian" was a direct reply to a post of mine. he was not replying to you or even talking about you.

again, that comment was in reference to another posters assertion that mcgradys humanitarian contributions make him a 'great player'.

sorry you are so upset, but i think it is you who has lost perspective. nobody here has criticized mcgrady for his charitable contributions. nobody accused you of 'copping out' and nobody called you a TOF. you really have a t-mac sized persecution complex.

and what is worse, b****ing about t-mac or b****ing about those who b**** about t-mac?

Tracy with his first points of the season!
To put it in perspective, his PPG are lower than Chuck Hayes.

funny how you guys call everyone else TOF when yall are probably the ones that talk about tmac the most. a little obsessive don't you think? what tmac threads aren't you guys in lol? at least TOF are upfront about it. stop being secret fans!!!

We have a thread dedicated to a guy that is on the end of the bench of the Pistons, and has 2 total points in 3 games.

Can I start an "Eddie Griffin Regular Season Thread?"

If McGrady can handle playing as a 9th man for a whole season I'd be very surprised. His ego will force him to retire if his play doesn't improve.

he got some confidence near the end and tried to be aggressive. his explosiveness is still not very good, but he's trying to do a little more in this game than in the first 2. and he played his most minutes. i think his role will increase with the 2nd unit in terms of ballhanlding and playmaking as the season goes on.

strangely, the pistons suck when tmac isn't on the floor. i think keuster will slowly increase mac's minutes.

they have too many shooters on there and no playmakers. when tmac is in there, they have a flow to their team.

that's his calling card right now: facilitating.

Sure, but Tracy has to start doing more as well. He can't score to save his life and when he can't score he is pretty much useless. he couldn't even more Korver on the block, couldn't even evelate over him.

Looking at his stats is just pathetically sad. Pathetic in the true sense of the word. This was a superstar who once won the scoring title and was considered one of the greats of this generation. Now, he is used as a scrub on a lottery pick team. A man who used to average 30ppg is now 0.7ppg.

If he isn't in the grips of a deep mental depression, he is one resilient b*stard.

If you think it'll have well over 100 replies in about a week, sounds appropriate. Not sure why you'd choose a corpse, though.

    Hahahaha!!!

That was hilarious but so true.

He needs to find a way to score or he wont be in this league for too long.
