i just saw the dunk on nba.com and he went high. his head was near the rim

physically, i think he's nearly there. other obstacles are stopping him from showing how much he really has left: mental, bad coach, and bad situation.

Thats because he is in a team with a bunch of ballhogs. Guys like Gordon, Stucky, Bynum, Hamilton and Prince are shoot frst pass last type players. Besides Tracy, noone on that teams even looks remotely interested in moving the ball.He haas to be the creator for those guys. Thats pretty much the role they've given him.

I still remember that dunk attempt where he got blocked by the rim against the Bucks. He was really in a bad way back then.

Wow, how can you just burn 25 point lead and lose the game? I have been saying this all year. Kuester is THE WORST COACH in the entire NBA. He has no idea what he is doing. He should be fired after this game.

As for Tracy he was pretty agressive in the 1st half, I was shocked. But yeah, after having great half why play him at all in the 2nd? That was as dumb decision as you could make. As I remember, Pistons really started clicking on offense with him in the game. Another epic fail by Kuester.

I saw he bumped his knees or whatever as he drew a charge but he looked to be fine.

Again, this is a bad situation for McGrady. He is not getting minutes he wants or really deserves because the Pistons really looks better with his on the floor.

Tracy is that type of a player that will give up when the team is losing and I belive he has already given up.

    Bad fit. That's all.

i agree that john kuester is a horrible coach.

i went to the pistons game last week and when they were running the offense through t-mac, everything was clicking. there was so much movement. t-mac had 3 dimes in the first half (although he should have had 5, monroe kept blowing layups). the pistons were up 9 and as soon as t-mac was taken out of the game in the 2nd quarter, the pistons could no longer score.

then in the 2nd half, they never ran the offense through t-mac. lol @ rodney stuckey running the offense. their offense in the whole 2nd half was so stagnant.

as a head coach of an nba franchise, how can you not recognize this? when things look good with t-mac directing the traffic in the 1st half, why would you not let him do it again in the 2nd half?

That was a T-Mac dunk. I didn't think he could do that. Thanks for the video.

I think they are trying way too hard to limit his minutes till the mid way point.

He should be ready to go 30+ minutes a night right now.

The only thing I see that he lacks is his scoring ability. He seems slow when he's driving the line but sometimes shows that he still has a decent first step.

There is no way he is getting 30 minutes on this team. NO WAY. And I don't think he would play well.

The thing is, 9 minutes is kinda ridiculous. Whan he is in the game this team looks better, they get better shots. And yesterday, he had it going early not only scoring but dishing as well.

Kuester said he thought the game was over. What an idiot. 25 points don't mean much at this level, especially when you have a team like the Pistons. That was a completly dumb decision and actually I am glad they lost. They just suck.

As for Tracy, he can say 'thank you' because only the Pistons wanted him. If not them, he wouldn't be playing at all. It is what it is and I doubt it will change...Bad fit.

Uhh yes it does. When a team is up by 25 usually the game is over. This one is on the players not the coach. There is no way a group of NBA players should blow a 25 point lead.

It is on the players but as a coach when you see things NOT working you have to react.

The team announcers in the video have an excellent description of Tracy and the Pistons.

"It's got to be maddening to play with Tracy McGrady at this stage of his career."

Those were some stupid raptor announcers who clearly havent watched many pistons game. In fact, tmac is one of the few players on this pistons team that actually looks to distribute.

That being said he could definitely involve him self more with more screens, better cuts, playing off the ball better, and more defensive intensity.

They are Toronto announcers. And Tracy barely shoots at all.

So You can deduce why they would say that.
