**Official McGrady/Pistons 2010 Regular Season Thread**

he's present the data to look intentionally bad. T-mac has only shot a handful of ft's.

 

His stats are not impressive because he's not taking a lot of shots. Of course he's not scoring a ton but he is playing big minutes. He's the anti-Kevin Martin.

He's being put in for major 4th quarter minutes to stabalize the offense. His play has been outstanding. He's deferring to others.

The biggest complaint here about t-mac was he just got his touches and shots at the expense at everyone else. Now that he's helping others get teir shot and not taking a lot of shots, people are saying that's a sign he sucks.

It's a bit ironic I think. He;s hustling, playing D, getting rebounds, assists, blocks, and steals - yet all people focus on is the fact he's not taking enough shots.

Weird.

 

Just when you think he's turning the corner, he gets "sore muscles" or "tired legs". That's just sad.

It is only a screenshot from the player comparison drop down on McGrady's NBA profile. I didn't try to present it as intentionally bad for McGrady. I just selected Courtney Lee and clicked "Print Screen".

why do you continue to post in this thread? you arent even talking about mcgrady, you are just whining about those who are critical of him.

 

That doesn't make you innocent.

Failing to point out that T_mac has taken a FRACTION of the shots Lee has is pretty deceptive and makes that entire analysis bogus.

If you consider that t-mac is not taking shots, you'll see that he actually is beating Lee is every other statistical category. T-mac could easily put up 15 points a game if the coach told him to go do that.

 

Courtney Lee has only averaged 2 more shots per game more than T-Mac.

Maybe it has been Tracy's right leg that has been holding him back -- once they get proper treatment on that leg watch out NBA.

we've seen tmac made that pass to rafer many times.

the plays weren't for tmac. a lot of players do this. it's to give the player with the ball space
