    Carl Landry was terrible then.
    Mutombo had no offense.
    Artest was a chucker
    Scola was a rookie.
Yao was injured the season they had Landry and Scola

I agree to an extent, but you can get away with lacking athleticism and mobility as a center a lot more often than as a small forward.

At this point, McGrady seems good enough for the minor role off a bench of an average Detroit team, but nothing more. But I'm hoping he keeps improving.

Sooo... did Tmac get injured today? or is he in the doghouse? or is it a sore knee? Because I noticed from the boxscore he only played 6:09 minutes, I expected him to play more with his improved performances.

Detroit F Tracy McGrady(notes) left the game in the first half with soreness in his right leg and did not return. …

Well there's no argument to McGrady's talent when healthy. Nobody could possibly argue that. It's McGrady's talent in question when he's not healthy or when his confidence is at an all-time low as it is now...

you can't have it both ways. You can't say he's soft and being a diva and then say his minutes should be limited because he's coming off of MFS.

    Which one is it? Geez.

That team wasn't a contender. Beating portland proves nothing. Put a healthy t-mac on that squad and you got something.

T-macs play in Detroit is vindicating him and showing that Adelman was wrong. It took him a year to come back, but it was unwise of the Rockets to treat him badly when they had nothing to lose by letting him play his 8 minutes.

Yes he's a prima donna - so what? Most super stars are.

Guess what, our team doesn't have any super stars. No prima donna - and we're 4-11.

I'll taking putting up with T-mac's antics and winning then watching Adelman teach his "team" concept of failure.

I said it last year and the year before when Dada was calling for T-mac's head and begging for the offense we see today.

You can't win in the NBA running a college team mentality out there. This ain't hoosiers. Worst thing that happened to us was taking the Lakers to 7 games and making people actually think that series was close. And that we could build a competitive team around that concept.

This team can't win as built - you can't win without people to draw double teams, people who can create and score in crunch time, and a team defensive concept that everyone commits to.

Our team doesn't have it. It doesn't have the thirst and the drive. And that's because Adelman doesn't know what he's doing. It's why the Maloof brothers got rid of him.

I like T-Mac, but is this really true? I need to watch some Detroit games, because he's not really filling up the stats or even playing big minutes.

Absolutely not true, dude look at T-mac's stats and minutes played.

compare that with Jordan Hill and his upside and plus think about our draft picks.

Sure the Rockets stink now, but absolutely
has nothing to do with Tmac being traded away

Well while there was a halftime during Rockets' game I had a chance to watch Tracy play in this one. He looked BAD, I mean really bad. He couldn't really run and he was standing in the corners all of his 6 minutes,

I guess something must be wrong. But right leg? Wow, that is interesting. We will see but this is getting at least funny as it always does.

You never know with him. I am kinda tired of all those 'sorness' and 'stifness'.

No contender is gonna want him even for his 1.3 M if he is consistently missing games, getting hurt, even when those are minor injures.

I guess his right leg is starting to give up. He puts so much stress on it. He didn't even jump once (I guess) off of his left leg.

He has effort on playing defence, he is playing team basketball every single night and doesn't complain for a playing time, cause he's trying to earn it. Is it enough?

I wonder If Dan Langhi could average 4 points and 2 rebounds on 43% shooting and 37% shooting from the free throw line in 16 minutes?

Your comment is great!.. i've wanted Oj Since he was drafted. I feel he can become a big time scorer for us, he won't prove it behind Rudy Gay

Vindicated? He is not even better than our backup SG, Lee, who gets skewered regularly after the game.

What happened to McGrady's FT%? I thought he was a pretty solid free-throw shooter.
