Happy Anniversary. Wednesday marked one year since Tracy McGrady returned to Rockets practice and declared himself 100 percent ready, if only the coach and GM would let him play. He played six games last season with the Rockets and 24 for the Knicks. He is averaging 4.1 points in 14 games with the Pistons.

Not sure that's what he had in mind when he insisted he was 100 percent a year ago.

Tracy needs to do more. He can't expect to play 23 minutes (like in Memphis) and have 3 shots and score 2 freaking points. There will be a point in the season when he will have to show he can score. And I am not taking about him jacking up 20 shots.

But his productivity should be around 10 ppg and 4 asists. He is doing a nice jon of creating for his teammates and moving the ball around but he will have to show (if he wants to play any bigger role next year and maybe later this year) what made his name in his L - abillity to score.

I understand he is playing with guys like Gordon, Charlie V, Bynum who like to shoot but in my opinion at some point he will have to show more offense. Playmaking is nice but with his talent you gotta be a triple threat player. Pass, drive, shoot. That's my opinion at least.
