Wow...really? For starters reached the 2nd round of the playoffs. How many times has t-mac done that in his career?

wanting tmac to fail? that's like wanting fish to swim

have you need seen the team success (a new concept for tmac fans)
    for when he played with

    toronto
    orlando
    houston
    new york?

as far success. tmac has fulfilled the prophecy of David Stern.

it's 100% marketing of individual players throughout the world and not about team.

tmac has millions of fans who could careless what his teams do, only what he does. And to top Michael Jordan or Kobe, his fans don't care if he wins anything.

he didn't have to spread the ocean apart or stick a bunch of animals in his boat.

he just has to go out, smile, and hit a few jumpers and they are dancing in the streets. At least Mick Jagger and David Bowie had to sing to do that.

It seems that Tmac is still getting star treatment. He needs to make those FTs.

what do you use to measure success? an nba championship? in that sense, no player for rockets in the last 15 years has done ANYTHING more than what t-mac did.

if you want to measure success by how far someone has gone in the playoffs and a 2nd round appearance is enough to satisfy your needs, that's fine but anything short of a championship is not success in my eyes.

i don't know about you but a 2nd round appearance really isn't all that special.

Look you are the one trying to knock the Rockets' accomplishments compared to T-Mac's "accomplishments." If you're going to respond like that, how many banners has T-Mac raised?

i'm not trying to knock any of the rockets accomplishments. people just don't seem to understand that other than the 2nd round playoff berth, t-mac has contributed to every positive rockets memory in his era as a player for the rockets.

i just don't understand why people hate on t-mac and act like he owes us so much.

I think that is really fair actually. So honestly do you think T-Mac's career has been considered a success thus far?

i'm just saying that a 2nd round playoff appearance in which t-mac was not a part of is enough to justify the thought that "t-mac had zero success as a rocket."

    it isn't.

but zero playoff wins doesn't warrant any of you to treat him like he's an equal of kobe bryant.

If I ever meet Daryl Morey, I'm going to thank him for trading Tmac.

Do I blame Tmac for all our loses? no. But he didn't show anything worthy for the Rockets to keep him.

And when he left, it was different than when Steve Francis left.
Steve Francis loved the Rockets and the city of Houston.

I didn't see that love from Tmac..except for himself.

The pistons are still a good defensive team.

it's just funny how many rockets fans can support everyone on the rockets team and hate on t-mac when no one has done anything more for the rockets than t-mac has.

if mehmet okur didn't hit those 3's at the end of game 7 in the 2007 playoffs and the rockets advanced to the 2nd round and went on to get swept in 4 games by the golden state warriors, would all the t-mac haters still hate t-mac now?

But you said anything short of a championship is not considered a success in your eyes. I think that is actually a fair criticism of the Rockets organization in the past 15 years that they haven't gotten close to a championship. But you can't call T-Mac's tenure here a success then.

it seems as if all it takes is a 2nd round playoff appearance for rockets fans to deem you a success.

wow, that sucks come to think of it. :(

i went to the spurs game and probably going to tomorrow's game.

i like our offense and i like the guys and i like the coach, but it seems we are missing some toughness.

Tracy probably felt the same way about the second round not being so special, that's why he never got there.
