    i like you. nobody forced you to make this bet with me - you did it on your on accord so be a man and honor it.

    im not getting personal at all - generally when people win bets (especially ones that took 6 months to play out) the winner is allowed a little gloating. get over it. certain losers should learn to be more gracious.

    again, when people win bets there is generally a little gloating allowed. and losers are generally a little more gracious in defeat. i know that if i lost i would be an adult about it and pay up and i would not go around calling the winner a "f*****".

    this bet was over about 4 months ago.

    Hey, I'm not mad at you, I'm certainly not a TOF. I'm just trying to be a friend and let you guys know that you'll both come out of this with poorer reputations on the BBS if you handle your bet like this. Not a soul likes seeing a thread completely hijacked by a pissing match (see: Yaozow vs clippy or goodbug vs clippy).

    Obviously McGrady wasn't going to finish with 15 ppg, and you're right, it was pretty much sealed by December. But unless you guys agreed on when the bet had to be paid, you can't bring out the flamethrower and trash him for not paying it before the regular season ends.

    Be gracious in victory. There's a difference between gloating and chasing after the loser kicking him in the ass from behind.

    The bottom line is whoever lost the bet needs to honor it.
    The money is going to Clutchfans, the greatest site for HOUSTON ROCKETS FANS.

    The Houston Rockets who's greatest player is the honorable HAKEEM OLAJUWON. Hakeem would pay up cause he's a man of honor. He wouldn't throw Clutchfans under the bus.

    DonnyMost, that is truly sad.

    He literally goes 22 ppg, 6 reb, 6 ast to a 8 ppg, 3 reb, 3 ast role player off the bench in a 3 year span. One of the fastest declines I've witnessed in recent history.

    Still seems like it was yesterday McGrady was playing through his knee injuries/shoulder injuries in the playoffs against Utah following the Artest arrival in Houston.

    His biggest mistake in my opinion, playing through that knee injury especially when Yao announced his injury when he was out for the year.

    Horrible decision to play through that injury but it's whatever.

    I'm not saying he shouldn't play, but the man said he was gonna pay. Why does jo mama go the extra step to be a prick?

    Hakeem is great and all... but that's just borderline worship. Lol. And if you really love and respect Hakeem, you would know idolworship is against his philosophies as a Muslim.

    never said you were either. and for the record, im not mad at anyone - this is all in good fun for me.

    ¿que? in case you have not noticed, this entire thread is one epic, season-long 230 page pissing match.

    we agreed that the bet would be paid at the end of the season. with two games left all i did was put out a friendly reminder that the day of reckoning was at hand. i certainly didnt "trash" anyone or call them names. i might have done a little "flamethrowing", but that is entirely my right as the winner of a 6 month long bet - ive waited months for my chance to claim victory and now that it is truly mine i shall shout it to the masses from the highest peak.
