"Half of the Pistons players missed Friday morning's shootaround in what a team source called a "player protest."

Tracy McGrady, Tayshaun Prince, Richard Hamilton and Chris Wilcox did not show up to Friday's morning shootaround.

Ben Wallace also wasn't present, but he has been dealing with an ongoing family matter for several weeks.

Austin Daye and Rodney Stuckey showed up as shootaround ended."

According to team spokesman Cletus Lewis, McGrady was out with a headache, Prince had the stomach flu, while Wilcox and Hamilton apparently missed the bus without a reason. A team source confirmed Prince's and McGrady's illnesses, adding Wilcox overslept.

CONGRATULATIONS to all players that missed the practice. That's the way to do it!

What Kuester is doing is completly unacceptable at this level. The guy kills this team and is the worst and the dumbest coach in the NBA.

He can do whatever he wants because there is NO owner who can shut him down.

Reason behind the player strike? Surely it didn't take them this long to realize they suck?

Kuester is terrible. It's his mission every game to lose.

Why would they do it right after the trade deadline???

Come on T-Mac, play a full season for once, you were so close... lol.

    Is he playing tonight?

it's exactly because it's right after the trade deadline that they're doing it. they thought rip was being sat because he was being traded but not only did Rip not get traded but everyone knows that they tried to but missed the deadline. That is the ultimate insult, to have to know that and still be on the same team.

Mac is involved, maybe, because he's supporting Rip despite one thing: he got Hamilton's playing time and he should just stfu if it wasn't something real serious

If Q wasn't such a dumbass, this team would be in playoff spot right now.

    I understand their frustration

Starters: Bynum, BG, Charlie V, Summers and Monroe. Lots of guys whose strong suit is scoring. Defense, rebounding? Take the over. 1 minute ago via web
