I wouldn't mind getting T-Mac back, considering how ****ty the team is. Actually, if he can afford to wait a few years considering how many games he's taken off, the Rockets have a good situation for him to work his way back with.

He can get some coaching, too. The guy has never been coached to play in a system, really. Any coach he had before JVG was crap and JVG was forced to play a simple penetrate/pass the ball inside, kick it out offense with Yao and the crappy perimeter players he had.

Right now he is just as good as he was in 08 season. At the start of the season he was'nt, but right now he is. H is'nt as scoring much because he is taking alt less shots.

this is #13 from top playoff moments EVER.

oh and this is the NBA finals.

McGrady asked to be traded. He didn't want to be part of the Rockets and was excited to be a Knick.

Ad hominem. If you want to show up Tinman you've got to do it classy. Don't give him another excuse to label Tracy supporters.

Hopefully you understand that I love both players. Olajuwon and McGrady. As a Rockets fan, I'd sport a Olajuwon jersey over a Tracy jersey anyday. But that's not the argument.

this is who the hardcore tracy supporters are dude, they are not very creative nor are they accurate in their arguments or defenses.

example, I posted a clip for leadership of the Pistons, Isiah Thomas's legendary game against the Lakers in the NBA Finals.

Instead of admiring the accomplishment of an undersized point guard taking it to the Lakers in the largest stage, they could only think about Tracy. How dare I think Tracy could not show this type of heart and accomplishment?
simple, he hasn't, on in the nba finals, not on one leg.

That was the #13 greatest playoff moment according to the NBA with a hall of fame point guard and champion for the Pistons.

This ONLY PROVES that the Tracy fans do not care about the Pistons organization or legacy. And I believe this to be true about when they were cheering him for the Rockets too.

    but that's just my opinion.

That's not saying much. But I think I'm going to go cry now.

because he wanted to play? kobe asked to be traded from the lakers years ago, so the f what? you dont make good points, you think you do, but youre just stating random facts.

mcgrady was excited to be a knick because he was going to get pt again, he was going to get to test his knee out and really see if he could play, not because he hated houston, or didnt respect our organization. he was injured, he opted to have surgery to ensure that his career would continue, just like yao chose to have a major foot surgery last season so that he would have a better chance at a longer career.

its amazing how some people analyze the nba, as if it is some video game, its a business, and people have to make tough decisions, both management, players, and coaches. adelman has said before he had nothing against mcgrady, but he needed a team that could produce, and mcgrady wasnt there yet. we did what we should have, either give him 20 or so minutes to get back into shape, or send him home to rehab until they can find a place for him to play. i respect the decisions we made, do i wish it ended differently? of course i do i wish mcgrady never got injured and we had both him and yao for all of the playoffs. no one could have stopped us that year, instead of being mad about what could of been, youre just mad, sulking every day, pretending to put on a "thank god thats over" face, when in reality youre just butt hurt that mcgrady left and we never won anything.

we played utah every year, and they had our cards, it sucked, we got cheated by refs in both dallas and utah, so we didnt go anywhere. you cant put that on mcgrady, just like you dont put it on yao. i put it on management for putting such an awful team together outside of those two.

but i think the problem is that people only seem to care that mcgrady hasnt made it out of the first round. They fail to look at the circumstances of each match up and i dont think they pay too much attention to how mcgrady has played in the playoffs. it is what it is. mcgrady has not advanced past the first round but in every series mcgrady has elevated his game.

He said he was ready was back, don't make re quote the same articles over and over again. McGrady said he was back when he wasn't in houston either.

Look I understand this is you:

McGrady = Never his fault for anything throughout his entire career

I'm just telling you he had faults, a lot of them.

Speaking of New York, what did that extra playing time get him?
a bunch of DNPs cause Rockets were right that he couldn't play much that year. they used McGrady to get cap space, they didn't really want him as a player.

We Rockets fan don't owe McGrady anything, he did what he wanted to do. Sometimes that was great for the Rockets and the fans, sometimes not.

no one denies his talent when he was at his best, but his leadership skills were questionable.

I know you're going to give me grief for this analogy, but look at Hakeem. Every single Rocket has got his back and would follow him to the end of the earth. That's leadership.

Did the other Rockets feel the same about McGrady?

speaking of Kobe. the Lakers know what they have with him, they would not trade him unless it was for LeBron. The Rockets knew what they had with Tmac and they traded him. That should end all your Kobe references.

I know you and RTM will root for him, that's fine. I'm just here whenever you drop McGrady turns water into wine statements. It's more like Koolaid that than a bottle of Chardonnay

So when they don't play him in the 4th, do you switch the channel to reruns of the Jeffersons or What'sHappening?

the dude had opportunities to stay when the times are bad, but he chose to leave. The Magic rebuilt after he left and now they are contenders.

look at Paul Pierce, the Celtics were horrible but he kept the faith and finally put a good team around them.

There's something about loyalty that is missing from today's NBA. I know LeBron is the big example, but the days of players staying for the same team are over.

    Lol

You are clutchfans monor of the year for reason

They wanted to part ways with him and they were trying to rebouild a team around Durant as a franchise player

They pursued him for a long time and tanked for him. But they lost a lottery and Ainge tried to get as max as possible from his roster

Building a veteran contender was just a Plan B. It's a famous story

what's up with the TOFs and the spelling issues?

well history is history dude, Pierce stayed and his loyalty was rewarded with a championship .

I hope you figured out the moral of the story though.

And that was an example of basketball irony

celtics fans were extremely disappointed, because they lost an opportunity of getting either Durant or Oden, they started to panic, but just the year after that, they thanked God, McHale and Stern that those lottery ball for pick #2 was for Sonics, not for Boston

But in your dumbass world of hating, everything is against T-Mac, even if your girl/boyfriend is cheatin' on you, we already know the answer

    It's on him

    It's his fault
