    you called?

Air Langhi is legit, his opinion might differ from mine, but he's legit.

anyways, they are playing the New Jersey Nets. Kevin Martin would have dropped 50 points on them.

With pretty much with this supporting cast + Tmac the rockets won 22 games. I think AB has gotten better, Lowry is better than RA, Hayes, scola have all gotten better. We lost landry, but we have pat and hill. Obviously Tmac is worse, but at least the current tmac doesn't looks look completely hobbled. He can make plays. He isn't as a good a scorer as Kmart, but he can have a good scoring game here or there. With Tmac, AB can go to attack mode and we won't have 2 short guys at the same time (KL+Brooks).

not the point with tmac now. it's about consistency, and about continuing to experiment with the types of shots he used to take, and make.

True, I think overall at the end, he played good enough. He's hustling now more, which is actually good to see. He's going for offensive rebounds, his body probably feels close to 100%.

Tonight, I think he was fouled quite a bit which should have resulted in 20+ points.

playmakers are always a premium property. You need an elite playmaker to get anywhere in this league:

    lakers: Kobe
spurs: Manu (Parker can do it but not as well)
    heat: lebron + Wade
    Boston: rondo
    dallas: Kidd
    okc: Westbrook
    Chicago: rose
    Utah: Deron
    no: Paul

we need someone like that and I just don't know where we can find one in the open market. Closest one was Joe Johnson but he's not available anymore. Kevin martin is not that guy. If he needs to go for us to get an all star playmaker I would have no problem with it

No, those games were not straight but he dropped 40 on Hornets with extremely hot Chris Paul and he dropped 30 on cats

    That was nasty.

And you're right, hopefully he stays healthy the rest of the season so he can work hard in the off-season to improve his conditioning. That layup he just missed, he knows he should be making.

funny how we are all wondering how close to 100% physically he can return.

from my perspective he is still not close - but he is far closer than I thought he would get. He also seems to still be getting better. It really is quite a story - to see how far he can come. His basketball smarts are still off the chart and it is hard to imagine a team thinking it is in contention not wanting to take advantage of his salary if injury should require a playmaker with his incredible court vision.

i dont even know what to call that shot. Whether he was lobbing it off the glass for monroe idk it looked weird. i think t-mac was thinking too much. he should of either drove harder to finish the layup or he should of pulled up for the jumpshot.

I agree. Until Tracy starts proving his game against playoff-caliber teams CONSISTENTLY. Until then, a "Tmac is back" argument should be rendered invalid. So far he's 50% from accomplishing it by wrecking on bad to decent teams. Until he consistently averages these numbers against teams like the Celtics or Heat; he's not going to redeem himself.

He can drop 100 points and he'd trouble closing out a game or having any relevant value towards a basketball game.
