who do you think he compares to?

I think AD is extremely unique in his size/skillset.

the only person I can think of is Lamar Odom and yet Odom is much more post-oriented than Daye is who plays much more like a wing player.
    But he's 6'11  lol

reminds me of durant actually, they are both tall and lanky, both shooters but I haven't seen austin create his own shot a lot + he doesn't have that kind of confidence and is probably limited by the coaching staff but I'm pretty sure he will develop into at least half a player durant is which is still pretty impressive

    wow

Even with four fouls and foultrouble story of the last game, that cost them a win, McGrady is trying to play active defense

what difference can healthy status make

    nice three quarters for T-Mac

12 points, 8 assists, 3 steals. Just what you need from your point guard

just wish he can be more of a scorer so we can gauge his scoring abilities a little better.

    but he's their only playmaker

From what I've seen he does not have the quickness nor the motor to be the scorer he once was. He can still score when his pull ups are falling, but the days of him being a premier scorer are done. That's why he like being a facilitator - he can move leisurely around screens and pass above everybody due to his height. Smart move by him.

Actually I'd rather see T-Mac play the role of assist-T-Mac. T-Mac is the best wing passer in the NBA. T-Mac's passes are prettier than anything in the NBA.

Eh, I think if he puts up 15-20 shots, he can score 20+ on 43% shooting. I think we will see McGrady shoot more especially if Prince gets traded.

It's tiring to put up that many shots in a game. First of all, to create the shot, you need to beat your man then create space. Imagine doing that 15-20 times a game. I just don't think he has that in him anymore...well, at least until he shows more stamina. Conversely, play-making requires him to sift in and out of the defense and kick it out to open shooters or, since he's so tall, find cutters with bullet passes above the defense.

Stop talking about that, about consistency or something else

His coach just let the tie game to 18 point blow out by sitting McGrady on the bench when their offense can't create just one solid shot on dozen attempts and he would say that he benched McGrady cause it was a blow out
