No, no it's not. That's not what the OP said, and as much as you TOF's keep repeating over and over that we should censor all discussion critical of McGrady and his past, present, or future, this is still Clutchfans, and Tracy still disrespected the Rockets organization.

Sorry, but that is pertinent to the discussion when people repeatedly claim that the Rockets would be better with McGrady this season.

People aren't hating for the sake of hating. People are "hating" to remind you people that he's burned more bridges in the NBA than any active player, and that that is relevant to any discussion of him as a player.

Would I like to see him do well as a performer in the twilight of his underachieving career? Honestly, I don't really care.

Would I like to see him advance past the first round by hopping on a bandwagon, after the way he left the Rockets? Absolutely not.

So please, stop claiming that by some magical internet decree that this thread should only be PRO Me-Mac. Just because it brings a shred of reality to this McGrady circle jerk doesn't mean that it should cease.

If you don't care, then don't post. That simple.

It's like ruining a r****ded kid's dreams, even though it's false/inaccurate/whatever. You don't do it for the sake of preserving accuracy of information. You do it just be an *******.

the only ones being irrational in this thread are the delusional, overly-defensive, whiny TOFs like you.

its an open forum and we can post where we want. stop being such a whiny little baby.

actually, "preserving accuracy of information" is exactly what i was doing when you got your panties in such a wad.

spiegel made this post on page 138...

that didnt quite look right to me so i looked up his #'s and posted them...

and for some reason that really set you off. i dont know why the truth hurts you so much, but the facts are the facts and you are going to have to learn to deal with it. TOFs shouldnt be going around throwing out false statistical information and thinking they can get away with it.

here i am trying to talk "official mcgrady/pistons regular season" and you get all upset over it.

Get over yourself. TOF implies I am a fan of Tracy over all else. I'm a ROCKETS fan, tmac is PISTON. They are WORLDS APART. So don't bring your bull**** "TOF fan" allegations into this thread. I can be a fan of any NBA player I want. For instance: LeBron, Tracy, Kobe (to an extent, not so much anymore), and Aaron Brooks.

In the end it's a ******* basketball game, and you letting yourself become emotionally invested in them to the point where you flail like a complete moron, as if you actually make a difference in these players' lives and these organization's. You are just a stick in the mud.

It's pretty difficult to have anything nice these days because people just come in to **** it up, just for the sake of ****ing it up. Tired of internet trolls like you.

EDIT: Just to add nobody except the actually delusional Tracy synthesizers are actually working him up to be an all-star or something. I myself understand he's on the tail end of his career and he's not going to get back to his old form. BUT, I still wish for him to do well, because I used to be a HUGE Tracy supporter back in the day. It's ridiculous how you fail to understand that. If you don't give a damn about other people's opinions, nobody will give two ****s about yours. Maybe we should round up all the passionate Anti-TOFs to another forum where you can all discuss how much Tracy sucks. Is that really needed? Has it come to the point where your hatred of Tracy would actually compel the need to create TWO SEPARATE THREADS. Pro-Tracy and Anti-Tracy? Just stop.

In the end you are wasting your energy. You're not going to convince anyone to change their point of view because we are not easily influenced bandwagon fans like you. The majority of Tracy fans happen to have been Tracy fans for a VERY long time. There is no bandwagon here. Only the haters that were butthurt because he has a piss-poor way of getting along with the Front Office.

I also need to remind you again. It's a basketball game. GAME being the keyword.

The fact that people list Tracy's name with these two is amazing.
As a basketball player based on skill, team and individual accomplishments, he doesn't belong.

It's like somebody mentioning the All American Rejects with Led Zepplin and Black Sabbath. Sure just because they had a few hits like Dirty Little Secret doesn't make in the same league. Sure they got potential, but I doubt it.

Again, bravo to David Stern, Adidas, and to Tracy himself for accumulating so many wildly loyal fans with no team accomplishments. Michael Jordan and Bird and Magic had to win championships and MVPs to do this.

Tracy needed to have just a couple of great seasons to convince his fans that :
he's better than anybody on his team
don't say what I've done, just say what if I had done

Tracy has had some 'communication breakdown' but his fans are all aboard the 'crazy train'.

Tinman, Tracy McGrady was a top 5 player when he was healthy on the Rockets and Orlando.

Obviously, he cant be compared to LBJ or Kobe now, but McGrady was a great talent although it was before his knee injuries.

Hopefully this thread just focuses on his improvement throughout the season, there is no point of arguing, he is done with the Rockets. There is no reason to bash him, it's already been done.

Wait. So you pick Tracy McGrady, but you don't pick Aaron Brooks who I mentioned in the same breath? Lmao.

I'm sorry we're not bandwagon fans. Like I said, most of the people that follow Tracy are those who followed him during his Orlando days and during his early Houston days.

Jesus Christ, you can't be a fan of anything now-a-days because there are people running around telling you that you are wrong. LOL. I can have an opinion dumbass.

And this is the fifth time I have to say: I AM NOT WORKING HIM UP TO BE AN ALL-STAR. I just want to see the dude play basketball. Is it really that hard to understand that?

We all know he was a good player .
It's not that they think he is on the same level in their minds , It's that they believe that in their hearts .
It's like they are continuously singing Paramore's you are the only exception.

I'm tired of these self righteous losers coming in here b****ing and whining. Get a life.

Nobody cares what you think of his LEGACY or your definition of a TRUE ROCKETS FAN. You may think you are, but you're not significant! Your opinion does not matter! We don't care, Tracy doesn't care, the Rockets doesn't care, you're just more of a nuisance.

This thread is about Tracy's 2010-2011 season, not your crap Siskel and Ebert-type critique on his career as if you know a thing about basketball. So trolls, leave all the other crap outside this thread and stay on topic!

I never questioned your fandom of Tracy McGrady. I merely thought it was illogical to compare or even think of Kobe and LeBron when you are talking about Tracy McGrady.

You are so passionate of a Tracy fan that you drag Hakeem Olajuwon's name into this knowing that I'm a real Rockets fan who loves and appreciates what he did for the Rockets.

I only question your logic, but I realize it's in your heart that you believe that they are on the same level.

why do you care about what I think about what others think?

    that must mean you care.

I just thought kobe and lebron shouldn't be dragged into the Pistons/McGrady debate for no reason, they are too busy playing on winning teams.
