Is ASura racist for not giving the ball to yao, francis the same?. Why is McGrady is taking Yao's glory. You YOF's are notorious.

I think McGrady did a ton for the Rockets. You didn't catch what I was really saying.

Learn to spell. Holy **** I cannot understand anything you are saying. Every other word is misspelled and your grammar is equivalent to that of a 10-year old.

PLEASE STOP. Just stop typing until you learn.. you know... how to type?

And since when did it become customary to only be able to like one or the other? Since when did one have to choose between Yao or Tracy?

Notice the reaction of the announcer. Bill Worrell only got this excited about Tracy McGrady, and Hakeem. He's a fun player to watch.

You can see him playing good defense now that he doesn't have to carry so much of the offensive load, I always felt that aspect of his game was vastly underrated.

Like I said, T-mac was going to be THE moneyball pickup of the offseason. The Rockets were fools to let the relationship deteriorate so they couldn't resign him after trading him. Now that he's getting some minutes he's showing that he's way better than either of our SF's. We'd probably be in contention right now if we were running Mac out there instead of C-Scrub.

If Tracy keeps this up, he might actually get a deal with someone else next season.

Lmfao. He used up all his chances in Houston, he didn't trust the system and when you don't trust the system in Houston's offense you will not score.

He's better off in Detroit where he gets to take as many shots as he so pleases, where he gets to handle the ball all the time, where he gets to do whatever he wants.

In Houston Rick wouldn't take his ****, and Tracy is not the player to take **** from the coach either (I could recall him complaining that coaches were too hard on him in the past) so... it's better for both sides.

Stuckey expected to be back, so Tracy will probably be back to limited minutes, and lower production.

How did he do so well under Van Gundy then? He had problems with Adelman and D'antoni, two power hungry coaches who like to play head games and have a history of problems with many players. Van Gundy is about hard work and results and Tmac had no problems with him. Don't blame Tmac for having headcase coaches.

Well, if I remember correctly, in mcgrady's first season the offense was awful until mcgrady basically took over and played HIS way. It's always seemed that JVG felt somehow indebted to him after that. His playmaking ability made that offense bearable. So he let him do as he pleased. In many ways, JVG hurt Mcgrady's career by removing all responsibility from his game outside of playmaking. That worked as long as he was a star but as a role player u just can't have the ball in your hands all the time. I honestly don't think he knows how to pay any other way now.

Mcgrady doesn't get enough credit for what he did with those teams. No they didn't get anywhere in the playoffs, but it wasn't because of him or Yao, they had a team built with hustlers and defenders who couldn't shoot. Tmac would get them open shots and they just missed them. Remember the Dallas game 7?
Tmac and Yao scored like 60 points, the rest of the team made like 17...And it wasn't because they were taking too many shots, they were just missing everything.
Imagine a healthy tmac with this team? In tmac's first few seasons with us he would run off pics for mid range jumpers, he would thrive with this team, bunch of athletes that can FINISH?! On top of that we have more competent 3 point shooters.
It's just a shame we have to play the what if game, but it's true, tmac's playmaking ability would thrive with these guys who move well, find open spaces, and most importantly MAKE their shots.
Hid defense is/was no worse than Chases, it was much much better, i've seen Tmac shut down Dirk and Boozer in the playoffs.
