Those guys have pitched 200 total innings this season. One who hasn't pitched, was a rookie last year with a 5,00 ERA.
Yes, our injuries have been more significant in terms of length/severity but your post stated greatest rotation on the IL. Currently, all of those Dodgers are on the IL, and I’d take Glasnow, Yamamoto and Buehler before any of the current injured Astros.
My statement was all-encompassing. So, severity and length of injuries (the normal things injuries are measured by) matter. I'll take Urquidy in the WS before Kershaw in any playoff round.
above posts already mentioned the discounts... and there were 34,000 people there for a tuesday night game against the awful/no local fans Marlins, so seems like plenty did take advantage of that exact situation...
I agree with the "building on the good game" theory. Chas should start tonight, but Joey also needs reps. Dubon is a bench player and is the one who should be sitting. He should play to give regular starters a rest or as day to day injury substitute. Playing Dubon every day at the expense of getting guys like Chas and Loperfido up to speed and performance level is short sighted and may hurt this team in September and October.
I'm not overly concerned about the Rangers yet. Astros need pitching help though, immediately. Spoiler
