Yep. Since he’s pitching on sunday and won’t pitch in the ASG regardless, I don’t think he would be selected as a replacement for that reason… unless its a token gesture by MLB.
Blanco has already earned All-Star status -- only thing stopping him is the "substance" suspension. His availability to pitch is a nonfactor. An All-Star is an All-Star. .

I think it would have been nice of the Astros gave the available seats for last night's game for free to those in town to at least get some air conditioning extend dollar dog night to last night as well. Would have been a great way to help those in need to have an emotional escape for a few hours.
They had $5 seats yesterday and today. There's always a way to get a free drink too. There's a designated driver booth near the Saint Arnold bar. Sign your name that you aren't drinking, and you get a coupon for a free soda or bottled water.
