I still think upgrading 1b would improve the chances of a W.S. championship but am no longer thinking 1b is a negative in the lineup.

Alonso and Walker only two available that would be clear upgrades

I agree there are few who would be clear upgrades. And you only make a move if it is a clear upgrade.

Singleton is 102 wRC+ for the year and 130 since Abreu was released.

A clear upgrade would need to be 120+( maybe even 125)

Season and last 30 days.(only possible sellers)
    Wade Jr 158 / 117
    Busch 141 / 183
    Vlad Jr 132 / 148
    Walker 131 / 157
    Casas 130 / injured
    S.Perez 123 / 94
    Cronenworth 123 / 116
    Alonso 122 / 117
    Steer 117 / 140
    Y.Diaz 111 / 135
    Telez. 97 / 175
    Schanuel 90 / 132

Please. He's been making the same bullpen decisions throughout this run that he was doing in April/May.

Abreu, Pressly and Hader (for the most part) are doing their jobs. If you want to give him full credit for the offense also being on an amazing run ever since Tucker went out, be my guest.

By no means do I think he's some god's gift to managing... but you're out of your element with the circumstantial stats that you feel are causative. They're not. And at this point, you're going to actually "root" for that outcome to fit the BS narrative that you yourself created (especially since he didn't change anything about his managing decisions).

And frankly, I'd rather have a manager that consistently manages his team to get big leads vs. anything else.
