Volstad will walk his share of hitters, even Astro hitters, if they show a little patience.

Feliz has a .292 career OBP.

That has to be among the worst of all starting 3B over the last quarter century. Seriously.

Towles now has 5 hits and 4 RBI on the season... At that ratio, if only he could be a 0.275 batter, he'd be an MVP candidate!

I'm not sure why they continue to allow Pence to steal bases.

He's been caught 27 times in 64 attempts in his career. That's nearly 50%.

He has speed but he must have problems with deception or his first step.

Carlos Lee has been a far more successful base stealer in his career, just to put it in perspective.

I'm sure that it has a lot to do with Wakefield's slow delivery but yea, that's still a crazy number.

So much for Theo's defensive strategy.

Looks like a wild one tonight but I sure hope Myers settles down because the Stros really shouldn't be getting into slugfests.

    Clyde: "Ya think?"

    What gave it away?

That we're nearly 60 points below the second worst slugging team in baseball?: http://mlb.mlb.com/stats/sortable_t...allScope=mlb&timeSubFrame=2010&sortByStat=SLG

Our power outage is almost as bad as our inability to draw walks.

brianmctaggart Astros have now scored a run in 5 consecutive innings. OK, it's one run per inning, but it's a start.

Like I said earlier, got to crawl before walking lol.

One thing I like about Myers is his confidence.

Remember when Wandy used to turn pale and sweaty in the middle innings a few years ago?

Myers is mentally strong (if not crazy) and is a pretty talented pitcher.

This ump has a pretty wide zone.

It's worked for and against us so far.

It should be 3-0 to Lance instead of 2-1.
