I think it went back further than that. DVauthrin has posted several times that we were 5th in the league in runs scored after we started 15-30. That's nearly 75% of the season.
Yeah, but why bog this pitching and moaning session down with more facts? I'm sorry I brought it up. And you should keep your 90-RBI guy out of this, too.
Sorry guys, no cable + no DVR = no captures from me until I get that little "issue" resolved. I think June/July will be about the time I'll be getting everything back in order.
Healthy Berkman + Preston - Burke (sorry Max) should = better offense. Biggio needs to avoid a tailoff like he had last year, Willy needs to improve, Lane needs to play like he did in all months not named "May" (look up his May stats from last year...bad is an understatement). We'll see...it's why they play the games.
Found this on MLB.com, and thought it was interesting.... Player to watch -- Here's a surprising Marlin killer: Brad Ausmus. He hit .429 against the Fish last year (6-for-14), and in his career, he has a .286 average versus the Marlins (59-for-206).
Has anyone mentioned that after last night's double, Biggio is now 10th on the all time doubles lists? He needs another 22 to catch Hank Aaron. Hank is going down this year!!!
Yes, it's pretty stinking cool. At astrosdaily.com there is running total board on the front page if one hovers the mouse (without clicking) over Biggio's picture.
wow...i was thinking the double play that was not turned might come back to us. i was hoping i was wrong though
Thank you KNWS for showing the Ring Ceremony and the pregame show when you reported that you were going to be showing American Justice. I knew I should have double checked.
Wow, Pettite nailed for 3 in the first?! Our offense needs to get going for the first time this season. AND 2 OF THEM WERE HRS?~!!!!!!!
