I was all ready to watch us bounce back with a win today, but FSN in Austin decided to play the Spurs game instead! Yesterday the game was on UPN. I found that odd.
Lidge's inability to get batters out after an 0-2 counts is scary. Could be two factors A. he has problems locating his fastball. B. Something in his delivery when throwing the slider tips the hitter to lay off it. He probably will need to develop a third pitch and throw that slider less. I remember reading that he was messing with a splitter and a cutter during spring training, hopefully one of those will bail him out from this "dillema".
