Tonight is banner.... tommorow is rings.

Since opening day is an automatic sellout, they want to stretch out the festivities as long as possible, in order to get a lot of fans for the second game as well.

Today is a great day ... Astros have their opening day game as soon as I am off work, and Beltran is already getting booed in NY :)

Beltran already getting booed? That is the kind of news I like to hear.

I am going tomorrow night and Friday. Thinking about going to Monday's early game as well.

Don't hold me to this but I think:

    1. Biggio - 2B
    2. Taveras - CF
    3. Berkman - 1B
    4. Ensberg - 3B
    5. Wilson - LF
    6. Lane - RF
    7. Ausmus - C
    8. Everett - SS
    9. Oswalt - P

Personally, I might switch Taveras and Biggio but I think this is what they're going with.

Willy is my fav player on the team, hopefully he can have a good season, he played extremely well during the WS last year. It'll be tough against Willis though, he might be shaken up because of his bad performance in the WBC, but he might want to prove something. Great pitching 1st game

If Willy can learn to consistenly make contact at the plate and spray the ball to different parts of the field, he'll be fine. His strikeouts are really high, and you can't rely on those little dribblers to get you on.

Willy relied on that to make the team and stay on the team. Now, if he wants to be a *force* in the league he will have to learn to hit the ball better and become a threat to turn singles into doubles and doubles into triples.

Jesus, it's about damn time we have a team that we're not pulling for to lose to get a better draft pick.

    Today couldn't come soon enough!
