WhyTF isn't today's game a day game or early evening game?!? Scheduling needs most of these baseball games to happen earlier than what they're slotted for YOU HAVE A ROOF in A/C... PLAY DURING THE DAY!!! Is the roof open tonight / was last night? NIGHT GAMES = OPEN THE BARN DOOR, DAY GAMES = PASS THE BUCK TO DAIKIN.
I would definitely consider 2B a hole. Though, it would not surprise me if Dubie's offense is just okay enough to be able to flirt with being close to an average starter with his defense (2 fWAR). Regarding really bad production, I worry more about not having two corner OFs and a 1B getting close to the two fWAR threshold.
He was at 2b last night. A lot of his OF use has been because up until recently SL only had 2 healthy outfielders, so a lot of people were getting used there.
You're probably the first person in 50 years to suggest a regular season MLB game be played on a Friday afternoon. Wrigley Field has Friday afternoon games sometimes but that's because the neighborhood restricts how many night games they can play. Astros Friday afternoon fireworks would be pretty lame.
Because people have these things called jobs and by playing the game during the day you attract a lot less people…because people are busy working at said jobs and can’t attend the game. Don’t understand how this is even a question lol
In 2022, the year before he made the Astros out of ST, Corey Julks played 49g at 3b and 4g at 2b in Sugar Land. In the last year was an Astro, 2022, Taylor Jones played 23 g at 3b for Sugar Land. Neither of them ever played there in MLB. Where a player is put in the minors doesn't really mean much in MLB.
I get it but we also blew a 5-0 8th inning lead last time we played them. A game that turned the M's season around in my opinion. King isn't Abreu at this point either. I don't love the decision but it wasn't outrageous.
Yeah, the guy has who has averaged 135 games, 35 HRs and 95 RBIs in the last 4 years is made of glass.
"Bregman missing time could open the door for top shortstop prospect Marcelo Mayer, who is hitting .265/.344/.452 with eight home runs in 42 Triple-A games. He's played five games at third base this year, though none since April 27. Our R.J. Anderson ranked Mayer the tenth best prospect in baseball entering the season."
