Injury updates mention Yordan not being able to play in the outfield in October which isn’t a great sign. It makes me skeptical he’ll be ready for the wild card even as a DH. I hope I’m wrong.
I just hope Detroit has to burn Skubal Sunday in order to get in, unless they have the #5 in which he is Baltimore's problem.
The schedule would say KC is the most likely. I think we beat either, but man it hurts not having that bye. Hopefully we only have to burn Framber and Brown in the WC round.
The ALDS schedule really helps. Even if the WC rd goes 3, Framber can pitch twice on full rest in games #2 and 5. If it goes 2, then they don't need a #4 starter until game #4 and 2 of the top 3 starters are fully rested for game #5.
The way Detroit is going right now, they could very well end up as the 2nd WC instead of the 3rd. They have been on an absolute tear and the exact kind of team that can be dangerous as hell in the playoffs. On the NL side, I wouldn't want anything to do with the Padres right now.

I don't watch the NL much, but it seems like there are 5 teams in the NL (Dodgers, Padres, Mets, Braves, Phillies) that are better than the Yankees. One of those 5 probably doesn't make the postseason.
