Yeah, okay, so I was wrong about Hader and the Astros. They won and I am thrilled; and I don't give a damn about being wrong. All that matters is that the Mariners will not be winning the West. Congrats to all you true fans. Now, for my sake, even though you all don't owe me a thing, make sure that they stay off the booze tonight and go out and win another one tomorrow night. Another Mariner loss, given the wins by KC and the Tigers today will mean that the Mariners will not make the playoffs in any form as they will be four behind in the loss column to the Royals and Tigers with only three left to play. Or, even if the Tigers or Royals lose, they own the tiebreakers so the Mariners will be eliminated anyway. Who gives **** about the Twins and their ineptitude. The important thing is that the Mariners will not be in the playoffs and I will be thrilled because as I mentioned previously, I hate the Mariners. So, again, congrats to the Astros and all you true fans, but please win one more for me.
Dilemma, Do the Astros rest their players knowing they are in, or do they try to take Seattle out then rest for Cleveland? I'm thinking the champagne tonight may have already told us
