Agreed he's good. But he entered with a 3.21 ERA and we only got 1.35 The offense got 0.00 total from all their relievers We sucked today The only thing positive was not burning any of our high leverage guys while losing
We will have bad games and bad matchups. I'm glad we didn't waste a Framber performance on yesterday. That is why Baker infuriates me when he almost purposely loses the winnable games at the margins. We just don't have the room for error this year with the injuries and Arlington playing better.
I have to admit Julks is better than I thought he was. I hope it's an adjustment and not a hot streak. He seems to better at recognizing pitches
Definitely playing well. Up to .319/.396/.468 since June 1, with a 145 wRC+ He's up to 1.2 fWAR for the season. Might crack 2 fWAR for the season, which is solid starter territory. Pure found money for a guy who was freely available in the Rule V draft in the off-season.
Yeah I expect Chas to get beaned if he's in the lineup tonight. If he does get hit I hope whoever gets on after Chas hits a HR or something.
I saw it live. Not sure what was going through chas' head. Didn't think of it much at the time. I guess this is why Dusty hates chas' guts lol.
Bregman was good in June for a a while. Bregman has been worse than complete dogsh!t for the last week+ Why would you keep Bregman hitting 2nd instead of, say, Pena?
