I said we should look at adding another high leverage reliever, which we should.

I never said I would rather have Holmes than Pressly. What I said is that Pressly doesn't have the top of the line fastball or stuff that instills the utmost confidence in me. I even put in parenthesis (BARF), because mentioning Holmes was kind of a borderline, was just throwing in an extra name.

Like I said in my previous post, if you think Ryan Pressly is throwing the same smoke as someone like Emmanuel Clase, then I don't know what you're watching.

Ryan Pressly is 21/25 in saves this year btw. But @marks0223 said Ryan Pressly might as well be Mariano Rivera.

Should have swept, but I'll take 3/4 all day. The next couple of days should be really interesting. No clue where this is headed.

Finally getting to see the highlights of the game, I think Kirby should have been ejected along with Scott DisServais. That was head hunting plain and simple. No place for that in the game.

I am sick and tired of Yordan Alvarez getting disrespected by MLB on YouTube
Put Yordan on the Thumbnail He Hits Home runs Almost Every Game and Media MVP Bias to Judge and Ohtani is really Annoying.

Yordan hit a Walk Off Hit and No Thumbnail, Ridiculous.

The unwritten Rule is below the head or the benches clear. Since MLB has decided pitchers will never face retaliation personally, I might loosen my grip on the bat on the next pitch. The umps should have given the warning immediately and thrown him out when he threw the next pitch up and in as well.

The opposing team (Astros in this case) would have hated a warning at that point in the game (first batter).

I liked Altuve and the Astros response. Just win, don't escalate, don't give them any reason to get a rallying cry or unifying event that the team coalesces and starts winning even more.

Seems like the Mariners took off right after that Angels brawl. Maybe Servias was thinking that's how to get his team motivated.... Astros played 4-D chess by completely taking any wind out of that sail.

Ironically, they play the Yankees this week and it would entirely benefit the Astros if the Mariners were able to continue their winning ways, but it also wouldn't make me too upset if they got their asses handed to them.

Servais is such a damn instigator crybaby a-hole. He was a spare player and he's a spare manager. I remember when he and pre-steroids Gonzo would get traded for each other every couple of years.
