Have to agree, **** a clean inning, bring in your best if you’re not going to let him roll. That hurt however Kendrick just hit an impossible pitch, still hard to believe but yea, it did.

 

I would guess that all pitching changes/moves are made with Strom's input. I would honestly venture to say that pitching changes are almost entirely up to Strom and Dusty takes his advice 95% of the time.

 

I think Hinch didn't go with G.Cole because he wasn't going to be 2020 Astros while Hinch was going to be the manager forever until that thing happened.

 

Being at the game obviously didn't help . . .

 

Accordingl to Hinch it was that they had an agreement that Cole would only be brought in a clean inning. IIRC Cole seemed irritated that it played out that Hinch stuck to that

 

Probably cost the Stros another championship.

 

I thought the possibility that if Cole gave us the 2nd championship that he would 100% signing with someone else. By not pitching Cole that the Stros would have a remote possibility of signing him.
