I have serious concerns about Tucker’s natural aptitude for hitting... but he has certainly shown flashes and wasn’t bad last year. I don’t think he is a sure fire 10 year starter but he is still a very valuable young player with a lot of upside. He can run, field, can crush balls and turn on pitches... he just struggles reading pitches at this level ... so far.

 

All teams have a 30 player squad that will play games against the other teams squad. Astros squad is in Corpus.

I'm beginning to think Toro is going to be better than Tucker.

 

The Astros overall have a lot of holes on the farm, but they have upper level arms in spades. They have about 15 actual young pitching prospects on the 60-man. I'd expect most to not be very good, but they have enough such that some of them should be major leaguers at some point.

Also, didn't see this answered, but the trade deadline is now August 31 and September 15 is the playoff eligibility date.

eta: Also didn't see this answered, a reliever has to face 3 batters (not outs, batters) or finish the inning.
