That clip of the Jimmy Wynn homer in Forbes Field was pretty cool. And people complained about us having a hill with a flag pole in play!

Perfect start to the season; the Astros win with defense and pitching.

Couldn't have written that one any better. 1-4 in the lineup look fantastic. Gurriel was stellar at 1st. Keuchel and Giles were nails.

    Cautiously optimistic after last year.

    Go Stros!

Good game, wonder why they didn't let DK pitch the 8th since he was only at 85 pitches and dealing. Guess they are gonna be watching his pitch count this year.

That's especially common early on in the year. I doubt there was a starter that went past 100 pitches tonight. Guys are still getting into their grooves and haven't worked all the way up to full loads yet.

I was at the game and I visited the new center field area / tower and let me say there sure were a lot of drunks at that area. One guy was falling asleep and leaning on the rail. I can surely predict, someone is gonna fall to their death in that area while drunk. Not to mention, it is so easy for some to vomit from the top and land right on the folks eating in the lower levels.

Just stating what I saw tonight.

Keuchel walked 4 in 7 IP. He wasn't dominant, he labored. Cold weather was the culprit if you recall.

Dalls had MUCH better command and overall results this outing. Praise the Heavens.
