When Fiers has the lead he starts throwing that high 80s fat fastball right down the middle instead of making quality pitches.
They need to switch computer vendors then, unless they're considering routine ground ball/fly balls to be hit "hard". I've seen every ball he's hit except 1 home run, he's not getting robbed.

Im with you...other than the very first game he played, I havent seen one of his balls get hit where it looked like he was going to get on base (outside the 2 HRs). He's basically been a w**** at the plate.
He has to pitch at all times like it's a close game because teams can just tee off on him if he is just pumping his fastball in there. Straight batting practice.
Right it was a bp fastball. He just can't afford to pump that fastball in there, no matter how big the lead is.
