Turns out the ac was broke... Heard it on the radio on the way home. Good win. Dallas is almost below 5 Era (iirc) now. Come a long way.

Edit : I missed your responses...

    Correa is .194/.326/.264 vs. lefties.

Last year, he was .274/.343/.556 against lefties. He also crushed lefties to a >1.000 OPS in the minors last year.

    We need that Correa back.

What's up with stubhub stopping purchases 2hrs before an event starts?

I had some damn nice tickets I was going through the purchase process and at the end it took them away saying they weren't available any more... Ugh.

Side note : seatgeek is awesome. Stubhub had 12 bucks in fees... But the ticket price was really low.
Bought some on seat geek, also great deal and no fees. I know my go to place from now on,they scanned them right off my phone.

A beautiful performance by Dallas. It should have just been one run but a roided swing, what can you do?
unfortunately all everyone one can talk about is that melon ball sport.

Keuchel has been pitching much better over his last 8 games, but he's still not pitching like a front line guy. 3.91 ERA which is solid, but nothing special. It looks like he's getting close every start, but he can't seem to do any better than decent results. He's given up 9 HR in those 8 starts.

Hopefully he will keep getting better and looks closer to the 2014-2015 Keuchel by years end. His SIERA (3.79) and xFip (3.56) are trending in the right direction

In addition to Correa's struggles against LHP, which I assume is only temporary, we have a lot of role playing LHB, which has led to them hitting lefties, or bench guys hitting lefties.

Valbuena is having a solid season against LHP, but Rasmus & especially Castro (.374 OPS) have been brutal.

I did some work for the Astros in the past. Reason they stop 2 hours before is they sell a lot of their tickets as "ticketless" where a MMP ticket taker scans a barcode on your mobile device. Stubhub uploads their ticket sales to MMP around the time gates open. In the past, people could buy tickets anytime but then their mobile barcode wouldn't work if purchased after gates opened and then they would have to spend time at a ticket resolution window to get it sorted out.

Man, would really like to see Worth get a start against LHPs.

really hate seeing Castro and his .115/.220/.154 splits vs lefties. Did everyone else know it had gotten that bad?

Yes. I was stunned that he wasn't the catcher yesterday with Gattis starting today.

Can't believe how lefty heavy we are going today. I guess they are going with that Leblanc has struggled against LHB in his career vs. the struggles of our offense against LHP.

Gattis must be the world's sorriest DH. Can't believe they still give him at-bats in that role.

Gattis looking more and more like Castro 2.0 every game. Why can't the Astros get a catcher that can hit at least .240?

Is that good or bad? Gattis has hit lefties well, and Castro has hit righties well.

If you subtract Kratz from the equation, Astros catchers are somewhere around 10th in MLB in OPS at the position.

I couldn't check out last game, but how was Keuchel? His statline seems great, but I remember people mentioning how in previous "good statline games" he was still allowing some pretty hard hit balls
