Missing Castro has made no definitive difference on the pitching staff.

This has been an awesome season and even if Hamels and the Rangers have the last laugh and take the division, we have a very bright future and next year will be even better.

    - Kazmir is a decent not good/great #2 starter. He's mostly been a 3.75+ ERA pitcher throughout his career. He's been pitching over his head this year and things appear to be evening out. I might trust Fiers more.

    - Marisnick is a much better CF than Gomez. Carlos has costed us extra runs with his non-catches and worse arm. His bat isn't making up the discrepancy at all.

    - Bullpen has fallen off, but I think they'll return to form.

Springer's return is much needed and will make a huge difference.

Astros still control things and should win the division.

That's something a loser franchise would say.

Remember in spring training when they were picked to go to the World Series since they made so many splash moves. Ha!

What hurts is if Hamels had agreed to the trade, we wouldn't be in this situation more than likely...but he chose Dallas over Houston and it reinvigorated the Rangers to believe they are the better team.

This isn't about what the Rangers are doing, this is about what the Astros are not doing.

i ain't even trippin, homies. our bullpen has lost us multiple games in these last 2 series.
i don't care if he doesn't even take an at bat. springer needs to be in that dugout. his aura alone is worth a couple of wins according to my advanced advanced metrics.
