Villar just has no business out there.... That's an inexcusable error, something he's all too familiar with.
HE did not make an out in the liner, first hitter on the 7th, it was tough, but Valbuena makes that play easily. Then, he makes a dumb error for the 6th run. I am so tired of this idiot playing for our team, already 4 errors in few games played????? Send him to the minors, PLEASEEEEEEEEEEE, worse player in our team
agreed. He can't seem to pull it together in the majors. Villar was a mistake and keeping Hernandez into the 7th BIG mistake...you could already tell he was missing his spots in the 6th. Why push it? Not a good game by Hinch...usually he's been making the right calls though so give him a pass here but still i want more!
Villar has been absolute rubbish. The Mariners are also getting some really hard-hit balls off Sipp too.
He is an awful player, cant do anything good, well, only thing he does is steal bases, everything else, BELOW average to BAD
What's impressed me this season is that the Astros always seem to find an answer to their opponent's big innings. Time for one now... And, if this was any other Astros team from this decade, they'd be down 10-6.
Correa isn't getting called up right now. Villar has to go, but we need somebody that can play 3B and SS with Lowrie down. Only viable candidate would be to call up Fontana. Moving Lowrie to the 60 day (or releasing Villar) would open up the roster spot.
MEANWHILE, IN CORPUS CHRISTI... <blockquote class="twitter-tweet" lang="en"><p lang="en" dir="ltr">Meanwhile, Carlos Correa is 2-of-2 today with a double. Hitting .368. Is he the Clint Capela to Jonathan Villar's Joey Dorsey? <a href="https://twitter.com/hashtag/pulltheplug?src=hash">#pulltheplug</a></p>— Ben DuBose (@BenDuBose) <a href="https://twitter.com/BenDuBose/status/594959947495968768">May 3, 2015</a></blockquote> <script async src="//platform.twitter.com/widgets.js" charset="utf-8"></script>
Villar is so bad. It gets to the point where who cares about service time with Fontana, just call the guy up. Will be so much more reliable in all facets of the game.
My fear is that as good as things have been going for the Stros that doubt will enter their heads when they have a couple of Oh Sh!ts..
ugh. still can't believe the Astros gave up 4 runs in the 6th with their stellar bullpen. Hernandez was good up until then...frustrating
