I am just not sold on Peacock. Walks more than 5/9IP which is incredibly bad. I feel like every time he is out there, he is getting in jams and can't pitch deep into games, and it's more of an anomaly when he does. Sorry for the negativity, I just rather give Brett O the chance to prove himself. Peacock has had his time.

I prefer Oberholtzer as well. Peacock may be best suited in relief.

I guess. If it reduces his walk rate, sure. I just hate throwing someone out there that puts runners on base. Long relief maybe.

    HA. My thoughts exactly today.

0-7 with 6 k's. Geeez. Santana maybe not ready for this right now.

I recall Octavio Dotel constantly faltering in the 6th/7th as a starter.

Santana being a total bust wouldn't be surprising. He strikes out a ton, but doesn't have a great walk rate to help offset it some. Good news is, that the only way from here is up.

Just play it safe and call him Enrique, his real name.

Oddly, Dotel is a guy that walked too many as a starter that same to my mind for Peacock. Granted Dotel had higher K rates so I would not expect him to be like that.

Only 21 years old, and up before even the Astros themselves planned on. He will likely go back down at some point, but that won't mean he won't end up being good either

Next on the agenda: get Dallas Keuchel to pronounce his last name the German way.
