I think Locke makes it as well. People heal quick, and so far every major character death has been an episode where they are the flashback focus. 4 star episode; finally confirming the Others-Dharma past. Next big question is the Others' true origin and nature. Evan
The part I remembered was Jack rallying the troops wanting to take the fight to the others. There was a scene where the others are coming and there's a big explosion, presumably a trap set by the losties. That's all I remember right now. I'll post a vid when it makes it to YouTube.

Assuming that TNT the French chick too will come into play next week. Last nights episode was pretty good but man that whole Jacob thing just added a ton of questions. Locke isn't dead, if there someone who's been healed by island more so than anyone it's Locke. I was waiting to see if Ben put a 2nd bullet into him, if he did then it'd be over but he didn't
jacob has to play in to the part of where people see things that aren't there such as the horse, polar bear, and various people. doesn't it? sayid, jin, sawyer are my favorites, though the locke from the past couple of episodes has been much better than the pansy computer chess playing locke of the past (save for not being able to kill his dad).
so im guessing besides jacob, the real person to go to for answers is richard and not ben. man, who would have known that richard is that much older than ben..i was shocked when he confronted ben when ben was looking for his mother
Yeah Richard not aging at all (or not appearing to) doesn't make any sense but what does on this show? I don't buy into the theory of them being in hell. When the helicopter girl first said it to Hurley, it was shocking and I believed it for a little bit... but that's not what's going on here. There had to have been some cover-up of the crash by some higher powers as someone mentioned previously. With that said, I think Locke is really dead. Everyone we've seen die on the island has stayed dead. One's back being healed and having a bullet go through your chest is two different things. Remember, Mikael said he didn't actually die but that the fence was set to a non-lethal dose of radiation or something. What to make of Jacob? Who knows with that one. I like the theory of him being the smoke cloud. They're saying the finale is gonna change everything... it's gonna be so crazy.
OK, but did we really see Locke die? We saw him get shot, laying in the ditch. Dying, but not dead . . . yet. So I say there's still a chance he survives.
Some nice surprises alright. I have some questions about the episode alright. I'll put them in spoiler mode. Spoiler Richard being around and possibly one of the island's "natives" was a real shock. I wonder if there is any significance to the fact that Richard apparently had Ben kill his own father, and Ben wanted Locke to kill his own father. Also, Jacob told Locke, "Help me." Why would Jacob need help? How could Locke help Jacob? Very interesting stuff indeed.
Locke didnt die. When every other major character has been killed, the news networks have posted about it in some sort of fluff piece in entertainment news. They love to spoil things. Today....nada.
