So...on to her mission: -->nab Sun for their newest subject? I'm disappointed in Jack, he should have been all over Claire getting SO sick SO suddenly. No way that's withdrawal from medication. Stupid TV realities! -->Good plothole caught by my friend: why was Juliette slinging her bag around the shoulder that was dislocated last episode? Whoops. -->Arcadia Park. I believe that was a reference to the Talisman (and one other Stephen King book that's not coming to me). If so, my nose twitches a little as in the Talisman, Jack is a boy who keeps flipping between worlds (Earth and kind of a photo negative of Earth - they're intertwined). I can not believe any of this is scientifically explainable at all anymore, so is the island not part of our world at all? Desmond tried to sail away but only found the island again. Maybe you can't just sail on back to "the real world". Maybe there is a specific nexus point (or points) that you have to enter to "flip" between the two places. I have a hard time buying that sub going from Miami to the Pacific Islands region in the time Juliette was tranked. It would help explain how that prop plane from Africa ended up there. Why Ben wasn't concerned about Michael bringing back rescuers. Major hole in the theory - how could they still receive satellite feeds. -->Ben's tumor was an exchange for Juliette's sister's? -->Island prevents (natural) death as well as its creation? -->I don't think Jacob is a person at all. I have a tiny bit of hope that a sense of urgency has been instilled in the writers and we're about to go full steam ahead with this series. I'm wondering if we only have one more season before this gets wrapped up. Evan
So, Juliette lied about having a valid vaccine that could be used on Libby? They implanted something into Libby which they could set off at will to make her have symptoms to play into Juliette's lie so she would be accepted by the camp. If that is the case, then why is Libby still alive...unless Juliette has made progress on a vaccine for helping pregnant women survive child birth on the island? I'm confused a bit I think.
why would sawyer and saied even care about the stuff Juliette brought up. All that stuff happened off the island. I would have tortured her to get some info and would not have let a little blackmail stop me.
It was an ok ep, although it would have been a hell of a lot better if Sayid was able to do his interrogation... So predicatable, as of course I called the fakeness of Juliette last week, but man, I was hoping I was wrong...That said, I still don't get it...They have all the info on everyone, what's to gain...
Sorry...I meant Claire. Okay...so they set off some kind of poison or virus in CLAIRE to make her sick. Then, Juliette comes along...la da da da da...and so happens to have a full story about Claire's situation up to this point which Jack buys hook, line, and sinker. Then, off she goes to get the antidote and fix Claire. So, how much of Juliette's story is total BS? Are the woman on that island really dying during natural child birth? If so, then Claire should be dead given Juliette hasn't saved anyone in her flashbacks. Or, does Juliette not understand how Claire is still alive while the "Other" women continue to die giving birth? God, I hate this f-ing show.
Well, I'm sure that at least the flashbacks are true so yes, the pregnant women die. But she also hypothesized that whatever happens to them occurs at conception. So because Claire became pregnant off the island, maybe whatever this disease is doesn't affect her. Now Sun on the other hand . . .
I'm not so sure. They've been there over two months now. I guess she could've conceived right before, but she should be starting to show soon.
They've kind of implied that she did with the guy she was having an affair with right before they left. Also, didn't they say Jin was sterile?
Well, Ben told Juliet she cannot go home because her work is not done. So, I guess this plan of Juliet infiltrating the camp is about getting her toward that goal. But, Ben is the master manipulator so who knows. Ben seems to be the only one who can let people leave the island and, now that the submarine is gone, how the hell do they get off now? I guess by boat like Walt and son. If Juliet double-crosses Ben, then how would she ever expect to go home? This show is all about flashbacks and keeping viewers confused. If they presented this story in a linear fashion, then it would probably suck ass and would have been axed by the network by now. I guess we are the idiots for continuing to tune into this mess. Oh...it will all come together in the last episode. Ben will turn out to be from another planet.
