I was thinking the same thing. I wish they kept a better track of time on the island. How long have they been there?
Yeah, and in the last Claire centered episode, when she tied a note to the bird, her note said they're been there about Eighty-somethin' days. And in the Nikki/Paulo episode last week, when they had the flashbacks it say "84 days ago","56 days ago","19 Days Ago", etc... So they do give periodic updates on how long they are supposed to have been there.
I get the feeling it something that'll be explained at some point, a little too obvious of a gap. Anyone else wonder why Kate always hides from the smoke monster in the same tree?
Spoiler For quite a while, the producers have been saying that Walt is comming back for next season. Apparently they were in negotiations to get Harold Perrineau (who plays Michael) to come back as well, but apparently that has fallen through because of other commitments, so I don't think you can expect to see him. People have pointed out that it will be interesting, because while a few weeks will have occurred on the island, the actor who plays Walt will have aged two years, and will look noticeably older.
Juliette said the Others had been on the island 3 years, but the Dharma Corp films and technology was from the 70's. I think Ben said he grew up on the Island. Juliette said they (the Others) didn't know what the smoke monster was but that it didn't like their security system. It's like the people that were in the camp other than Ben were the second wave; brought in after Dharma made some scientific advancements and possibly after some advance things went wrong, to help reinstate the Initiative; like Juliette was there to help them reproduce children because the original group had become sterile (after Ben was born I guess) If the sub blew up, where did they go? (on the island somewhere I thnk because Locke needs to stay there to be able to walk) Why wouldn't Jack just go get the the beachies and bring them to the Ohters abandoned camp...it's got to be better than living on the beach and you could just leave Juliette there while you went and got them (I guess they turned the security perimeter off since Kate and Juliette just walked right in)
Remember when Paolo opened up the Pearl hatch door? He didn't close it, and yet when Ben and Juliet walked in, they didn't say anything about the door hatch being opened. They must have come through another door, a door underground. Perhaps thats where they are living now.
Man, WTF are they leaving the "camp"? Why go back to living on the beach when they could ALL be living in the houses? (sawyer, Jin...Hugo etc.)
I was thinking that too...maybe they would need food or something since everything was cleared out. Dont know.
i stopped watching lost beginning of last season cause it was pissing me off. anything interesting happened?
Saw this on another thread, but the map that Sayid found at the radio station showed at least 2 underground tunnels leading away from the village.
I was thinking the same thing. But i think that some losties didn't want to leave the beach, because that would make them harder to be found. I didn't like lost at the beginning of this season, i loved it the first 2 seasons. But id din't like the the way the others was showed this season. I loved all the mysteries of the island. And that is coming back again. The one thing i find anoying about lost is that they NEVER ask questions. They have Juliet, ask everything you can about the others. Why don't they ever ask anything?
Well, it finally appears (at least I hope) that Sayid is going to do just that next week. Question: Sawyer let Carl go after he and Kate made it back to the island. But we never saw him at the Others camp. I wonder what happened to him?
