I never really noticed before. But 2 weeks ago "three of Lost's biggest secrets will be revealed" promo must have been the worst I've ever seen. This weeks "episode everyone will be talking about" sucked too. As if I was going to work today to talk about Hurley starting a van. Hmmmm, maybe they meant Cheech's hair.
Well, it's one thing to show clips in a misleading way. I actually like it when promos do that. But when the announcer promises that "3 big secrets will be revealed" or that "everyone will be talking about it in the morning", that's just false advertising. Compare it to "Heroes" which always delivers exactly what its promos promise.
Boring episode. This one was all fluff...... Although I did kind of dig the VW van almost eating it into the rocks.... Getting rid of Hurley and Charlie wouldnt really bother me.
The interesting thing is that based on the synopsis next weeks episode, which they were much more reserved about pimping, looks like it should have much more meat than the other two combined. Spoiler We get to see one of the remaining DHARMA stations for the first time, 'The Flame' and we get to meet eye-patch guy who is named after another philosopher type, Mikhail Bakunin. The real Mikhail Bakunin is about as opposite as you can get to the other philosophers named so far, like Locke and Rousseau especially so since he does deal with the same themes of government. Of course, it will probably end up creating more questions, but the story line should at least start to go somewhere, which it pretty much hasn't done since about the first couple of episodes of the season. Spoiler The 'one of them flies, one of them dies' promo seems to be just scraping by on a technicality, given the things we are supposed to be learning next week about Simone.
Next week is gonna be good. At long last, the connection between the Others and Dharma will be revealed, supposedly. ... Of course, then 400 more questions will be raised.

I really didn't get into this show until this season, so please excuse me if this is old news, but I was nosing around the internet trying to get a few spoilers and discovered that Dominic Monaghan, AKA Charlie is getting married to Evangaline Lilly AKA Kate This sort of celebrity stuff doesn't really normally interest me, but this particular pairing made me double take. I don't know whether to be jealous of Mr. Monaghan or just damn impressed.
I liked it. Locke is a moron. Not for pushing "77" but for leaving a prisoner to go play chess. Idiot.
I dvr'd it. Im gonna watch it tomorrow. I decided to watch the new South park episode instead, and I was disappointed
i liked it. i was kind of hoping for more answers after finding out about the mikhail's true identity, but locke let him off the hook, blah blah. i wanted to see what the whole deal with the black woman was, i'm assuming she's the woman that was in charge when walt was kidnapped.. more and more questions keep opening up, and it's starting to get harder to keep track of everything.. i had almost forgotten about eyepatch man
