Sawyer and Kate...what a crock, and in a bear cage, eww. They love each other? And this happened in what, the entire 2 days it's been on the island since the end of last season? Nice to see Jack stop crying and take some action. A new angry forceful persona would go a long ways towards the character. And you know they didn't bury Eko back at the camp because he's far too big to carry all that way. Nathan Fillion needs to be in more stuff, "You wanna get it on?" Classic.
Unless he's revealed to be an Other in a later episode, Nathan Fillion/Kate's husband, is very certainly not Ethan or one of the Others that we've seen so far. I and other Joss Whedon fans would have picked up on it immediately. Evan
An uninteresting aside: The very short role of Colleen was played by Paula Malcomson, who also played the very powerfull and involved role of Trixie on Deadwood. Sorta seems like if you had signed her and flown her to Hawaii you would have given her more to do than kiss a dude one week and get shot the next. Maybe Sun wouldn't have shot her if she had walked up to her with her shirt off.
The story Jack told Kate: During his first solo procedure he was operating on a girl. Toward the end of the operation he accidentaly ripped open a sack at the base of the spine and all these nerves and spinal fluid started spilling out. He was so scared but he knew he had to deal with it. So he told himself that he'd let the fear in and let it do it's thing for 5 seconds but that was it. He counted to 5 and the fear was gone. He went back to work, sewed her up and she was fine.
ooooooh yeahhhhhhh I remember that now. Moderate/Mild spoiler about "Jacob" below, if you consider the Lost Experience to be off-limits information: Spoiler The Jacob reference last night "Shepard wasn't even on Jacob's list!" may be pointing to a Hanso board member; Jacob Vanderfield. This guy is referenced from http://stophanso.rachelblake.com/recap.html, which is a LOST Experience site purportedly written by Hanso's daughter. This would indicate, if true, that the Hanso initiative is still calling the shots on the island. That Jack wasn't on Jacob's list would make sense if Benry inserted him for want of a spinal surgeon. probably some audience erosion due to the episodes sucking? http://www.chron.com/disp/story.mpl/headline/entertainment/4384264.html
well that didn't last long... i wonder which one is gonna get killed off? http://www.chron.com/disp/story.mpl/headline/entertainment/4441964.html
2 weeks! there is a sneak peak posted on the abc site http://abc.go.com/primetime/lost/index looks like they're adding a new character... a hot asian
I'd hit it...A little skinny, but hey, i can pick her up with one and...oh nevermind... Lost can't start soon enough..
With 24, Battlestar Galactica and Heroes starting again I forgot all about Lost and am not all that disappointed about it. I loved Lost too but I think these disappearing acts have killed it for me. I may watch it when it starts back up but I'm not looking forward to it like I was.
I think Lost kind of screwed up breaking the show where they did. I mean, we all know now that Jack, Sawyer and Kate are on an entirely different island, and that escape, at least random "run for the woods!" escape is probably not going to work, no matter how hard Jack tries. So it kind of puts a damper on this next half season (or whatever) premiere because we know so much of what Jack will be doing is futile. I guess they could make it interesting by having him kill the Others leader dude (forget his name).
Can't believe no one has commented yet. Be VERY careful with spoilers. I haven't watched it yet. But if someone could do me a favor and answer this question... If the video of this episode were available online, would I be correct in assuming that it would be, oh I dunno, exactly 349.9MB?
