Did anybody else want Jack in the OR to look up at the others and say "What did you expect? You terrorize us, kidnap our people and you don't expect them to defend themselves?"
Agreed... Spoiler I liked the Sawyer flashbacks...the needle in the chest and then the heart monitor was pretty cool, conning a con...having a daughter changed his outlook, imo...a fertility dr., hmmm
yes the fertility doctor thing comes back to Claire, and when they kidnapped her. It also ties in to the French lady and her daughter. Still a lot of questions to be answered.
Nathan Fillion of Firefly/Serenity "fame" shows up. I was hoping he might become part of the cast, but he's just a flashback character.
The way it made it seem as if the only way to get to the "Others" Island that Sawyer, Jack and Kate are on is by boat. But I thought that Jack, Kate and Sawyer all walked over to their island. So there has to be a way of walking back to their part of the island.
They walked to the other side of the island and were caught in a trap. They were then shown on the dock. They were drugged then wound up on the new island. Sawyer thought they were on the same island, because he wasn't awake during the time they were taken off the old island and onto the new one.
Last night was the first I remember hearing about it. If it was mentioned before, it slipped my mind.
I thought it was pretty obvious that Sawyer was being conned. Why else would they need Jack to save that bullet shot lady....If they had a cardiologist or other surgeon capable of surgically implanting a pacemaker, then they would not have needed Jack. Also, Sawyer would have been in a hell of a lot more pain than he was.
If the others are not killers, then who killed all of those people on the first couple of days after the plane crashed? Ana Lucia told how they came at night and took their people. It seems like some of Jack's group were also killed during the night. Was this the others or someone else?
True, same with all characters, but at the same time they're doing a better job of keeping them concise. Last night was a 30:70 flashback: present ratio, which is just fine. Using half the show for Jack's obsession flashback was ridiculous. Apparently, two new cast additions (they were the newbies talking on the beach when Locke and Charlie arrived with Eko last ep). As a friend of mine put it, I'm hoping they're redshirts in the Star Trek sense. They're annoying. Personally, I'd prefer this sort of thing not be dropped on the board - myself and plenty like me will either give in and peek but regret it, or will accidently discover it by quoting the post and seeing it. Offering up email or PM revelations would be more considerate, though you're clearly within the right to spoiler tag it... They weren't killing, they were taking. Eko killed two of them when they tried to nab him in the night. The tallies group was looted, with over half of them grabbed in a series of raids including all the kids. Ethan Rom f'ed up when Claire escaped, so there never was a major raid on Camp Jack. Evan
Where are all the kids that seemed to travel with the Others???? ps - Did I miss something. How does VesceySux know all the inner secrets of the show??? Is he an insider on the show???
A very short list on the others... An airline bus crashes, and instead of rendering any kind of assistance, the best that they can do is infiltrate the survivors. Make no mistake, they committed murder (Charlie) and only get off on a technicality thanks to Jack, plus some random minor character that Ethan murdered on the beach; Goodwin killed one of the tallies. They excel at kidnapping (especially children and pregnant women). They're pretty good too at assault, torture, enslavement, & performing weird medical experiments. Coercion, duress, & psychological warfare are seemingly part of the norm directed at the survivors. Having said this, they played Michael into murder. They shot Sawyer which is in no way justifiable being that they were the evil doers. Although as of late, if Charlies dies, I wouldn't mind so much. Being the junkie that he is, he's a little too smug.
A question about Sawyer's flashback: Spoiler why did that dude think Sawyer could move the money? Do you suppose Sawyer told him that he was getting out soon? Could it have possibly been that simple? Also, does anyone else think Sawyer got conned by the girl? The baby might not even exist.
Response to your spoiler Spoiler No I don't think he was conned. From her tone while speaking to him in jail, it seemed that he screwed her over big time. She probably fell in love with him, they fornicated, and then comes the baby girl. I think that this changed him dramatically, as a poster above mentioned. I wonder what his greatest motivation for conning the guy in jail was; getting money for his daughter, or him getting out of jail.
EXTREME WARNING: Do not click the following spoiler button if you don't want to know what happens next week!! Spoiler According to EW's Watch With Kristen, Eko is a goner. That sucks.
Oooooh, very tempting Vecsey. Not sure if I want to click it. How detailed is your spoiler? Is it a synopsis of the next episode, or just revealing what Da-Glyde wanted to know earlier?
